Longevity depends on the color?

I purchased Somebody to Love a while back and it has lasted me a long time. Love the color. On my lips, the shade is a medium brown. Also, it lasts hours even after eating. When I saw the recent sale I was excited to purchase a couple of lighter shades to try and purchased Walk This Way and Bad Guy. I was pretty disappointed. They are pretty colors but neither lasts throughout the day, completely wearing off after a meal. Not sure if the formula has changed or if the lighter shades have no staying power. Also I notice my lips tingle and get irritated with the Walk This Way shade, feeling more drying on my lips. I would not purchase these again I may try Somebody to Love once I run out, just to see if something has changed.

the formula and applicator is good. what I don't like is the shade reference and description is not at all accurate. The medium shades always tend to be lighter on medium skin tone which gives a washed out look. But with the dark liner or dark base they can look good.

The dark color of Nars Powermatte bleeds and smudges easily.

Powermatte lip pigment.

This is the first Powermatte lip pigment I've bought, and I really like it. The pale pink colour is just what I wanted, it's easy to apply, nicely pigmented, and stays put really well. Occasionally my lips do get dry so I put the Clean Cut Afterglow lip balm over it, and that helps.

Addictive!

My favourite lipstick of all time! It's my second bottle and will keep buying as I run out. Absolutely gorgeous coverage and shade (american woman) which slightly changes based on the undertone of my foundation and lighting (which is amazing because it allows me to play with my make up and get different looks with different combinations.) Also, I love its texture which is very lightweight and fluidic. Due to its water-like consistency, I can get precise results in application without using a lipliner. It's also longwear and fades slightly after eating (drinking doesn't cause this though); therefore, it requires minimal reapplication during the day.
