Perfect Shade

This lipstick is gorgeous!! The packaging: the box looks pink and cute and the lipstick packaging looks very high end! The application feels smooth and moisturizing. The coverage is good and lasts a good while. The scent smells good and chic! & The shade is the PERFECT shade for a neutral color for my skin tone. (I'm a fair medium). Overall I love it!

The lipstick itself is good for everyday or special occasions. It glides on nicely and has a matte finish. It is easily buildable without looking bad.

I love how hydrating this matte lipstick is as well. It’s long lasting, feels weightless on my lips and very buildable. Reapplication is also very easy. Highly recommend!

Not right for me

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was so excited to try out the iconic shade “Pillow Talk”! Charlotte Tilbury products always have gorgeous packaging and the Matte Revolution Hydrating Lipstick is no exception. The shade itself looks beautiful but once I applied it on my lips I was very underwhelmed. It goes on smooth but somehow looks dry on me. For me it’s a must to apply some lip balm beforehand and if I want it to look amazing then I must apply lipgloss too! I don’t mind mixing and matching 2-3 lip products but for the price of this lipstick I expect it to look absolutely amazing on its own as well! The good thing is that it looks better on my teenage daughter so she uses it more often.

It’s truly my favorite shade I have ever used and will stand by that. The consistency is great and doesn’t dry out my lips which some lipsticks can do. It layers great with other products too depending on if you want a matte or glossy look. The packaging is stunning and classic. This is long lasting and stays on through the night and dinner dates! Overall, I love this product!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love everything about this, except the hydration just isnt quite enough. But beautiful matt texture, perfect natural color, wears long and even. No tacky texture, easily blends with lip liner but natural enough to wear without liner.
