I want so badly to love this product!

This is a beautiful product and is easily applied but after it sets it settles into the pores on my nose and chin, giving the appearance of tiny dots. I purchased the Skim Milk, in hopes it would improve but unfortunately not. I do love the coverage and texture.

An exceptional product

I sent in pictures of myself to Ilia to get color-matched, and their suggestion works perfectly for me. The Skin Rewind Complexion Stick is the best match I've used in a long time and applies like a dream -- I usually do two swipes on each cheek, one across the forehead, one across the chin and blend in with my fingers. Afterwards, I'll take a damp makeup sponge and gently pat all over; doing this gives me the amount of coverage I am looking for -- light enough that it doesn't look mask-light, but enough coverage for some of my acne scarring. The finish is a true satin and it wears beautifully throughout the day. The only time it wears less well is if I'm having a fight with my tret, which as you know dries out the skin. In that case, it does catch on my dry patches and pill, but that's not a fault of the product. Just something to be mindful of if you're using tret or a particularly strong retinol.

Not Great

I received this as a free item with an order. This doesn't work for me at all. Goes on a tiny bit creamy but when spreading it doesn't work. Looks cakey and dry on my skin.I am over 55 but take care of my skin, especially my face (costs me a fortune). I have numerous dark spot due to sun damage but it didn't cover, I even tried reapplying later.

A little too heavy for me.

This applies well for spot coverage or a little extra foundation help, But it is too heavy for me for foundation. The color match suggested was great for spot coverage but a little pale for full foundation.

The absolute best

The shade match is an almost perfect. It literally blends into my skin better than anything else I’ve used. I work in a restaurant 12 hour days and my make up looks immaculate at the end of the night still. No creasing or anything. I definitely want to try and find an even better shade match in this collection. 10/10

Perfect coverage

This product is exactly what I was looking for! It’s quick and easy to apply, evens my skin tone without being too thick or cakey, looks natural, and doesn’t settle into my fine lines. I took off one star because there isn’t a color that is a perfect match for my skin (my skin falls between neutral and warm, with each shade being just slightly off), but as long as I apply some to my neck and blend it out, it looks good and is still a product I will repurchase.

So so good!

This was such a pleasant surprise! I’ve never tried a foundation stick before because I assumed they would either be too dry or too greasy. This is such a great middle ground. Excellent shade match, excellent coverage without being heavy, and a natural matte finish that is perfect even in winter and will be phenomenal in the summer. One tip I have is to apply this to just moisturized skin for even easier blending. This would be awesome paired with the Base Face Milk.

Foundation in a stick

I have enjoyed using the Skin Rewind Complexion Stick. At first it seemed to make my skin appear "flat", but I changed up how I am applying it and it seems to be improved. I now just swipe it on and use my fingers to blend it and pat it into my skin. It helps with the redness and is buildable. I would describe it as a light-to medium coverage, so acne is still visible. It does not seem to rub off onto clothes/coats which is nice. I bought a lighter color to try as concealer, it works ok, but I still prefer ILIA's concealer.
