This was a gift for my husband. It nourishes the skin in a such handsome way. This Dermo System is antiaging treatment that leaves wonderful skin. No scented at all.

outstanding range

I have been using this range from Dior since it first came out in Europe since October 2006. All the products are excellent. There are currently 12 products in use (Sephora stocks 5 of them). The serum(though still available) has been replaced by the age control firming care. The eye serum has been replaced by the firming eye serum. New labeling for the soothing moisturizing (now after-shave) lotion. I have all four toiletry bags with the Dermo Sstem logo (available in France), the box set (both English and French version) with CD, first 4 products(lotion, emulsion, serum, eye serum), poster, and cardboard description of first six products {above plus cleanser and mask}. I even have the rare store display to hold my products. I am a true fan. Overall, the Dermo System range is ideal for combo/oily skin.

Great aftershave...

I've been bringing home different skin products for my husband to try, which have mostly been by Jack Black. I saw this in the Sephora store and asked for a sample to take for my husband to try, which they were nice enough to do for me. My husband loved it. He said that it was very soothing to his skin after shaving and didn't burn at all. He has oily skin and this didn't make his skin any oilier. The smell was pleasant, too. The only thing is that it is very pricey at $50 a bottle and my husband said that the Jack Black was just as good and costs less. I didn't end up buying this because of the price and because my husband was just as pleased with his Jack Black aftershave. Its performance deserves five stars, but I'm giving it four because of the price.

Excellent aftershave

I'm constantly seeking top-quality shave/after shave products, and this lotion is pretty much THE best aftershave I've come across. The name of the product has actually been changed on the bottle to "soothing aftershave lotion". Although a bit pricey, two pumps is all you need. My previous bottle lasted nearly 10 months shaving every other day. Btw this worked with my oily skin perfectly. Extremely good product.

Pricey, But Has A Lot of Value

Not over-hyped at all. In fact, the entire Dior Dermo line for men is smartly designed from packaging to formula. The packaging is masculine and robust and feels solid and weighty with its sculpted glass bottle and beautifully crafted pump and cap. It doesn't look feminine on your vanity or countertop. But most guys don't really care about this stuff. The important part is the formula and if it has readily identifiable results. For me, this moisturizing lotion does just that, deeply moisturizes and conditions without an oily, greasy feel. It's more like a balm (after shave) in many ways which is especially important for normal to oily skin types. It conditions the skin, keeping it nice and supple throughout the day. For cold weather climates, this long lasting conditioning is an added plus, helping to keep skin lubricated - and eventually to prevent breakouts. Again, if you have oily skin, this is an ideal moisturizer because it does not appear to clog pores. The formula also is concentrated enough so that you get a lot of distance out of each bottle. So although the price tag is a lot for most guys, it may be equivalent to a couple of bottles of premium moisturizer. There is a seemingly unintended side effect of this moisturizer, and that is that it leaves the skin looking a bit toned. It's a nice effect, giving the skin a sexy, healthy glow. Finally, it has a nice, clean fragrance which does not smell feminine or overpowering. In all, this is an exceptional moisturizer for men, with real benefits and lots of value. Highly recommended.
