luxurious feel, soft and shiny hair in the morning

As someone who is a silk bonnet FANATIC, this is by far my new favorite one. The silk is insane, it’s the highest quality and you can tell it’s real silk. I have been wearing silk bonnets to bed for over a year now and I absolutely swear by them. My hair has grown longer, I have less breakage, and my hair is shinier than ever. I really love this one because it’s soft, fits great, and it’s super comfortable without needing to adjust it. I have found that sometimes when I wake up the turban has fallen off or at least partially off, but I have yet to find one that doesn’t fall off of your head at some point in the night. It’s very common, especially if you’re not a still sleeper. And my head doesn’t get hot or sweaty when wearing. Overall, I’m super impressed with this. It’s a high price tag but the quality is there.

Cute

Stretchy but is only suitable for someone with not a lot of hair. It is cute to wear in public. Easy to clean. I have too much hair for it to actually fit, definitely shoulder length or shorter.

Silky

Fits my head and hair perfectly, keeps my hair perfectly set and silky. The only problem I have is keeping it on throughout the night, I probably just gotta train myself to keep it on while I sleep. Great product !

Great premise, but...

I have a pixie cut, but I like to shower at night and my hair is a mess in the morning. I tried this and hoped for the best. PROS: my hair was not messy in the morning and styled easily. That's it. That's the only "pro." CONS: my hair was completely flat in the morning. Zero volume. The front of the bonnet wouldn't stay put and kept sliding down my forehead (maybe since I have less hair than someone who'd normally use this product). I may (or may not) continue to use this or I'll just give it to my daughter.

It was OK it wouldn’t stay on my head and it hurt my ears. It’s breathable great looking and lightweight and I love the silk, but it just wasn’t for me.

Not adjustable but still works!

Like this turban but have some i like better! I wish it was more adjustable but i love that its pure silk and it keeps my styled hair fresh for the next day! It is stretchy so it fits all sizes but i wish you could loosen it or just make it more adjustable.

Good for all hair types

For the most part it’s very comfortable but it is snug. Maybe cuz I have a big head, but I wake up with less frizz and no tangles and more hydration in my hair. I definitely recommend this for all hair types. The silk does a good job at preventing my hair from getting damaged in my sleep.

Great for protecting hair and skin

I used to use silk pillowcases but now that I have fluffier feather down pillows, I find that the cases don’t fit. I was excited to try the silk turban. It fit perfectly and stayed put. I like the idea of using it when there is a lot of pollen outside and I don’t always want to shower right before bed to wash it out. I also like the idea of using it to prevent oils from my hair from getting on my pillowcase and causing acne. Overall, highly recommend!

Quality silk

Love the quality of silk from Slip. This turban has helped extend the life of my curls when I wear it at night. Wish it was a tighter fit, as sometimes it gets knocked off in the middle of the night if I'm tossing and turning.

Gorg hair!

I absolutely love the Slip Black Turban. The silk material feels incredibly soft and luxurious, and it’s gentle on my hair, no pulling, frizz, or creases after wearing it. It stays comfortably in place without feeling tight, which makes it perfect for sleeping or lounging. I’ve noticed less breakage and smoother hair in the morning compared to cotton or other head wraps. Plus, the black color looks sleek and elegant, so it feels just as stylish as it is functional. Definitely worth the investment if you care about hair health and comfort.

Luxe!

Beautiful fabric! Silky, very smooth and has a nice weight to it without being overly thick/bulky. I have a lot of hair and was able to fit all of mine inside easily. It did slip off a bit in the night after I removed it from my ears. Overall very pleased with how it protects my curls and blowout.

Keeps hair silky, shiny, and frizz-free!

I’ve never tried a silk bonnet or pillow case before but, because I tend to have dry, frizzy hair, I’ve definitely been intrigued. There’s so many knockoff products on the market that aren’t real sick or satin, so I’ve never wanted to take the chance. I’ve seen the Slip brand mentioned online in beauty forums though and over time they’ve seemed reputable, so I finally took the plunge. The bonnet itself is smooth and includes substantial elastic around the bottom to ensure a comfortable fit for a wide range of head sizes. I’d say I have a medium sized head for a female with thin-to-medium density hair that comes to mid-bicep. For me, I had no issues with sizing and it was almost a bit large on me. I didn’t experience any indentations from the bonnet on my forehead in the morning. However, 2 out of 3 three times I’ve worn it, it was not over my entire head upon waking. I’m not sure what I can do to improve this (pin it?) but for the parts that were still covered, it did a great job of keeping my hair silky and frizz-free. I’ll continue to use this to help reduce any user error I might be experiencing, but will probably go with a Slip pillow case instead next time!
