Expensive but the quality is definitely there

This is a pretty nice mask. The price is crazy high but you get a good amount and a little goes a long way. The smell is one con for me, it just doesn’t smell very good to me but it’s only on my face 10 minutes so it’s tolerable. The results are definitely really nice, my skin always feels refreshed, soft and moisturized for hours after I use it. I usually use it before bed in my night routine and then after rinsing this off, lock in the moisture with a hydrating serum and then cream or even just cream (I love the drunk elephant lala retro cream for bedtime) to really lock in the moisture underneath. So If you can afford it I do think quality is there and it’s enjoyable to use, not too sticky even though it’s honey. And the results are really nice.

The smell can be a little much for people; it has a funky scent to it. But what I didn't like about this product was the weird oily film it left your face after you wash the mask off. I don't think this mask is worth the price tag.

It's Honey

It's great but i can't justify spending $153 for something that is most prominently and most importantly .. HONEY .. I feel like using straight up pure manuka honey is $100 cheaper for the size and would be more effective since the star ingredient in this mask is the honey.

Amazingly glowing skin after using. Absolutely love it. Not a big fan of honey smell but it is tolerable.

Worth every penny

I literally fall in love with my skin texture after applying this mask! I use this product around twice a week and my skin is maintain in a relatively good condition. But since I am also using a bunch of other products, I am not sure how this mask along is going to help. My skin condition: Dry, extremely sensitive, in my 20s

Love this mask. It's pricey, but it smells and feels wonderful, and my skin is very soft, plump and glowing after using. I've tried other honey masks (some homemade; some purchased here) and this is by far the best, plus a little goes a long way so the jar lasts for a while.

I started using retinal about 6 months ago, since my skin is adjusting it drys my skin out dramatically! I would have the most severe case of flaking skin. Long story short my face is brand new. I no longer have dry skin. Retinal is working better than ever. My face is brand new. Bright, moisturized, glowing, balanced. I use this every other night and leave it on for about 30 min. Price tag is worth it I promise you. AND this jar will last at least 6 months with using it 4 times a week.. little goes a long way.

Absolutely love this mask, it leaves my skin feeling so smooth, it feels like you didnt wash it all off but this is normal.

Nourishing

Be aware that the jar I bought during the 2018 November Rouge sale is a different formulation than the old jar I had a couple of years back. It is now a completely smooth formula with no "sugar" granules what so ever. It is velvety and thick with the same scent as the previous incarnations. I use this in the winter all over my face to help combat the dry air and biting winds. It helps soothe my flaky/peeling skin (coupled of course with diligent exfoliation) and truly a jar lasts a good while. My last jar lasted me ages and did not go off- all the way until I was scraping the last bits out of the jar. When washing it off, it does leave skin feeling "slippery" and those who prefer a squeaky clean feeling may find this a bit disconcerting so be aware. I do not mind the sensation and i find it leaves a kind of barrier, so to speak, on the skin and my subsequent skin care products all have had no issue layering over it.

Luxurious

I prefer the original Creme Ancienne over this one (the honey made it feel a bit too sticky) but I love the results.

Use real honey

What the description says that it's moisturizing and relieves dryness. It certainly does that... and not much else. You can never completely rinse this off because it sticks to your skin. You can moisturize with cheaper products. Or use real honey and achieve the same results.
