Smooth and buildable formula

I’ve been enjoying this formula as it’s super smooth and glides effortlessly without feeling heavy. It has great pigmentation but is still buildable. I especially love using it in my daily lip combo.

Sucky shades

Shades are not inclusive for pale cool toned skin in my opinion. Also too thick for matte lip. I don’t like it at all. The colors suck.

Unremarkable lip product

There are a number of similar blurring lip products on the market today and I was left unimpressed by this one from YSL. Positive: the packaging was weighty and appeared to be of good quality. It has a slight pleasant fruity scent that dissipates quickly. The color 6-Naughty Pink was close to the swatch online. Neutral: wear time was a couple of hours with faint color remaining. Application was simple, no skipping, easy to blot if that’s your preference. The dimethicone gives a slippery feeling to the lips. Negative: there was no plumping or flattering blur effect as advertised. As you can see if the photos, on my mid-40s lips that have no cosmetic enhancement, lip lines look more pronounced. I noticed no improvement to my lip’s hydration during wear. I tested the product on unprepped lips to see how it would look upon reapplication while out vs. how it would look when I have time to optimize the look with other products. I’m also bothered a great deal that YSL is still not cruelty free, which is unnecessary in 2026. Overall: I have products that run the gamut from drugstore to luxury and I consider this one a pass. Right now I have two (CF!) drugstore blurring lip products that I reach for regularly (at less than a quarter of the YSL cost) and have yet to find a higher-end one that’s worth it. This lippie has been languishing in makeup storage since I stopped testing it.

Once it sets, it doesn’t move and stays very comfortable. It give a blush of color, however, it can be built up to become more full on color. It has a natural finish. The color I chose (nude lavalliere) is a cool pink. The silicones help smooth the appearance of lip lines and the hyaluronic acid helps draw in moisture to plump lips. It has a fruity-floral scent that is pleasant. Overall, a very nice lipstick.

Color is absolutely perfect! Sometimes it's hard not being able to try before you see it but this was great

Soft and pretty

This lip color is really nice! It goes on very smooth and adds a very nice enhanced natural look to my lips. The color I got is perfect for me because it is a really nice cool toned pink. It's very soft and wearable, also very buildable but it does get a bit thick if you put on too much.

Feels and looks lovely

I received the Yves Saint Laurent Lovenude Lip Blusher Soft Blurring Lip Color for free from Influenster for an unbiased an honest incentivized review. I have Hispanic skin coloring and I normally wear red glosses or red lipstick. I have been very interested in finding a good neutral. I picked the color 7, illicit nude and it actually looks nice with my skin coloring. It’s definitely a true nude. It goes on smoothly, evenly, soft, and creamy. It is very comfortably to wear and it doesn’t show off my dry lips or settle into dry cracks. It honestly feels lovely, almost like a thicker gloss. It is very easy to remove. I would recommend this lipstick and color!

luxurious and perfect

love this so much! such a luxurious feel - i paired this in shade 8 with the lovenude shaper in 110 for the perfect for a soft ombré lip effect! highly recommend

Color 8 is amazing. Just like a natural color for everyday! Been looking for something like this for years!

Great lip for everyday

Really loving this shade and lip color. It’s long lasting and creamy, so it’s not drying at all like some other traditional lipsticks. Has a mildly sweet scent and is pretty opaque. Not sticky or tacky at all. The packaging is also so elevated and nice.
