I was gifted this by The Ordinary, and it works so well with my again skin! It helps plump and firm my skin, especially in area’s that have lost plumpness! I use it every morning and night, and have seen a drastic change!

Noticeable plumpness, especially on lips

I absolutely love this product

The reviews are from young skin. Where are the mature models? Mature skin has its own issues which need different options. Would be great if you listened.

gifted by theordinary. I was eager to try this product for some fine lines around my eyes. I’ve been using it for about a week and so far I’m liking it! My skin looks a bit more alive. It’s easy to apply and dries down nicely.

Pump up the Volume

This Serum was complimentary from The Ordinary but I have enjoyed their products for years so I was excited to try something to help plump up my face a bit. I haven't seen a dramatic difference but look forward to keeping it in my skin routine to see.

This product scarred my lips!!

Most reviews I've read so far mainly point out a lack of results, so I wanted to share my experience since it has left me more than disappointed. I bought this product late last year and started using it twice a day on my lips. I generally have sensitive skin, so I always make a point to research products beforehand and to be very careful during the first few uses so I can stop immediately if something feels off. This time, however, everything seemed fine at first. For about two to three weeks, I had no issues. Then one day, out of nowhere, my lips started burning. I hadn't changed anything in my routine, but suddenly my lips became very red and small dots appeared where I had applied the serum. I removed it and tried using it once more a day later to confirm whether it was the product and I experienced the same burning sensation again. After that, I stopped using it completely, but unfortunately, the damage was already done. The burning continued, and I couldn't use any products at all, not even lip balm. My lips began to scab over, eventually forming one large scab that would crack every time I talked or ate. It was extremely painful and looked awful. This may have been worsened by the dry winter weather in Umeå, Sweden, but overall it was very disheartening. The worst part is that it has lasted for months. One scab would heal, and I'd feel fine for a couple of weeks, then another would form again. I'm writing this right now with another scab almost four months later. I tried everything, different lip balms, leaving my lips alone, even medical-grade honey based on recommendations. I also tried to see a doctor, but they believed it would resolve on its own, which it didn't. The last thing I tried was Cicaplast; it helped temporarily but then made things worse again. I feel really sad and disappointed, and I deeply regret buying and trying this product. What upsets me the most is that my lips have scarred where I applied it. There''s now a visible line across my lips, above it is my natural lip color, and below it is a muted, grey-toned version of it. It makes me look unwell, and I miss how my lips looked before. There's also lines on my lips from the cracking which makes them look wrinkled. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend taking this into consideration before trying this product. To demonstrate the damage I have attached a picture of my lips before volufiline, what it looked like when I first encountered a problem and lastly what it looks like today.

red spots

Bought this to try to help with my under eye area, but noticed little red dots popping up and stopped immediately, which they thankfully went away. Also had trouble with the packaging where either a bunch would come out at once or not at all.

Lightweight and hydrating
