It’s awful! The okd formula was so fantastic and this one is so awful I don’t understand! It’s grainy, doesn’t absorb into skin, feels greasy, just really really awful

Trop fort

Beaucoup trop fort pour ma peau. J’ai essayé de « diluer » avec une autre crème et c’était un peu mieux !

Je l'applique chaque soir et ma peau est resplendissante. Aucune sensation de tiraillement, sauf au tout début du traitement. C'est un produit efficace et ça se voit !

Nightly Routine

I've been using this product for several months now and I love it. Others mention the tingling sensation which I also experienced in the beginning. The results have been brighter, more even looking skin tone, and smaller pores. To eliminate or reduce the tingling, I mix a little of this Vit C Serum with The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Serum. My doctor recommended the combination to me as an alternative to Retin-A or Retinol products which neither of us tolerate very well. In my 70's, I still have minimal wrinkles. I also use a nightly moisturizer on top of the Vit C and Hyaluronic combo.

Love it

I noticed a difference in three days. It is a little gritty but that goes away after it soaks in, you just have to be a little patient. I don’t think it smells bad, just a little citrusy. Affordable shelf stable vitamin c is hard to find, and while this goes fast it’s worth it. I use it on my face, neck, chest and hands (like I do for everything). It will be a staple in my routine from now on.

Grainy and stinky.

This product smells somewhat stinky to me. It also is grainy, which pills off product used before it. Even if I wait 20+ minutes for the product to dry before applying this product, it still pills and just comes right off.

L’éclat

Works so gooood

I’ve been using this consistently for the past 3 years and its made a world of difference for my skin tone and brightness. Everything's even now. When I forget to use it and come back to it, I can see an immediate improvement from the first day back.

Bad odor

Outstanding product that is worth getting used to

It takes a bit of getting used to, due to the texture, but wow- the results are worth it ! Skin has a soft glow - i Use in the morning with block out - at night the retinoid with copper peptide - i am 51’and constantly complimented on my skin

Perfect Vit C product!

I love this product. It feels like a cream, easy to apply, no residue. I don't rub it in, just lightly tap onto face avoiding eye area and let it soak in. Some tingling on cheeks but I get the same thing when I apply azelaic acid for redness. I finish with a moisturizer and sunscreen - no problems at all with application!

Works, but it smells REVOLTING after a few hours

This has worked really well to improve texture, pigmentation, moisture level, and make my combo skin more balanced - but this stuff smells absolutely disgusting. After it’s been on for a few hours, it smells like burning rubber, almost rotten. It sucks because I love the results, but the stench is so bad I actually feel embarrassed to wear it becuse I don’t want people to think I’m okay with smelling like burning rubber and rotting garbage. I can’t wear it during g the day because I’m out in public, and I can’t wear it at night because I’m married and don’t want to torture my husband. The smell is actually so bad it’s actually woken me up at night! No, it’s not expired or off. Apparently the bad smell is a known thing with many Vit C serums. The most potent forms are by nature unstable, and the stabilisers can make it really stink. Also, Vit C has an action kind of like self-tan, so it creates that funky smell as well. In the past I used the L ascorbic powder with ferulic acid to stabilise it, and that was even worse. It was so bad my husband asked me if I was sick. I’d love to find a Vit C product that doesn’t smell revolting. I’ll try one of the other Ordinary formulations next time, becuse they work wonders. It’s just the stench that needs sorting. The Vit C with HA spheres, and the L-ascorbic power with ferulic acid are both just totally unwearable for me due to the smell. I’m hoping a non L-ascorbic, more stable variety will be better. Fingers crossed!
