Sérum Filtres UV SPF 45 - Sérum solaire

Terrible. No. Yikes.

I am a massive The Ordinary fan. I own an endless amount of their products. They're all my favorites! This facial SPF is absolutely terrible. The consistency is one of the most sticky, greasy, & tacky products I’ve used yet. It took forever to rub in. I guess there was no white cast after that. But it left my face, shiny, greasy, sticky, & wet. The shine & gloss was extreme. I looked in the mirror after I was done getting dressed & doing my skin care routine, & I’m like, “there is no way I can leave the house looking like this”. My face/skin looks horrible! I had to use physical facial scrub to wash it off in the sink because it was not coming off. I even had buildup of the product around my eyes in clumps. Do not buy this.

Attention peaux sensibles – réaction allergique

J’ai acheté ce produit parce qu’il était indiqué comme convenant aux peaux sensibles, mais j’ai fait une réaction allergique qui a duré plusieurs jours. Si vous avez la peau sensible, soyez très prudents. Je recommande de faire un test dans le cou, car la peau du poignet n’est pas assez sensible.

Face Rash

I really wished I didn’t make this but don’t buy if you have sensitive skin. Personally I don’t have sensitive skin at all but 4 days into using it I had to go to the ER due to the product giving me rashes. I had a lot of red patches on my face that burn, itch and irritated my skin which was really new to me and for example it felt like eczema which scared me but please don’t buy if you have sensitive skin even tho I loved how it felt on my skin, it was harsh :(

Burning

Recently purchased this serum as was looking for one with SPF suitable to apply under make-up. It went on really nicely but when I came to take my make-up off at night it caused my face to burn and was really painful. I use other Ordinary products to cleanse and moisturise and all are supposed to be compatible with this serum. I tried it for a few days but each time it left me with a burning sensation on my face which was quite painful. Since I stopped using this, the burning has also stopped.

Avoid octocrylene

Octrocrylene is harmful for environment, and also doubtful to be used on skin at all

My skin broke out in spots

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and was excited based on its great description and ingredients - and my previous experience with The Ordinary products. Unfortunately, this serum is not for me. Just like many other reviews, my skin broke out in spots, tiny reddish bumps where I applied the product. It’s been a couple of days and it’s looking better, but on my shoulders and neck where I reapplied more often it’s still bumpy and itchy. I wouldn’t buy again or recommend this product, considering it seems to be a somewhat common side effect.

So affordable!

This sunscreen was so lightweight and moisturizing, and didn’t make my makeup pill at all. I love wearing this on a daily basis to get my SPF in for the day. Definitely a must try for the price! gifted by theordinary

Incroyable

Première fois de ma vie que j’arrive à mettre une crème solaire sur le visage sans aucune gêne. Le Sérum Filtres UV SPF 45 est une vraie surprise : aucune sensation de gras, pas d’effet poisseux et surtout pas cette impression d’avoir la peau étouffée sous une couche épaisse de crème. La texture est légère, confortable et se fait totalement oublier. Le test ultime a été avec mon fils 12ans, qui a une peau extrêmement fragile. L’année dernière, après une après-midi au soleil, il avait le nez et les oreilles brûlés avec des cloques et des croûtes, littéralement comme un poulet au grill. Cette fois, avec ce sérum, aucun problème, même en faisant de la plongée. Sa peau a simplement bronzé légèrement, sans aucun dégât. Nous en mettions le matin et toute la journée protéger malgré les activités aquatiques. Clairement une protection solaire exceptionnelle.

I received this product gifted by theordinary in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoy this spf as it blends so well into my skin and it plays really well under my makeup - no pilling at all. It doesn’t leave my skin overly dry or matte feeling like some other spfs. Big fan!
