Smells bad, avoid

I agree with other reviewers, and only looked at the reviews because I thought there must be something wrong with this serum (and sadly I just purchased another bottle). It smells very off, I'm sure the bad smell developed after a few weeks use. Perhaps it needs to be refrigerated; which isn't convenient in a 2 story house.

Used for 3 months consistently

THE GLOW is amazing. 1st month of using it I would only put it on in the morning and I started to see a difference it would make to my skin texture after taking off my make up so I started using it during the day and night and that's whe I saw more of a difference. It's worth it. I don't miss a long term transformation and for this price I can't complain. it did more than brighten but also helped my texture too

No big difference and had a fish smell

I don’t think this product did much to my face. It does feel good to put it on, since it’s a watery consistency. Initially it didn’t smell like anything but afterwards I started to smell the fish scent some of the reviews mentioned. I thought it was bc it touched water that was on my face but seems like it’s just there and noticeable now.

Works well but the smell….

It does make my skin look good, non irritating and moisturizing. However it stinks. Due to the smell I will not repurchase…it literally smells like musty fish.

I’ve tried a few vitamin c products but this is my favourite. I have acne and this doesn’t cause extra breakouts. I use it every night with the ordinary salicylic acid and my skin loves it! So glowy and beautiful!

I have been using this serum for a month now, and I have seen difference in my hyperpigmentation. The skin has been glowing. For beginner, start applying every alternate day, after a couple of weeks apply every day.

Bad smell

The product leaves a fishy odor after application, which I can’t stand. And it’s very odd because it doesn’t have that smell when it’s in the bottle.

I used this consistently until the bottle ran out and didn’t notice any change. I love the brand and other products, so this one just wasn’t for me.

This is the only product of the Ordinary that I don’t like and that’s putting it mildly. It reeks of fish. I checked the ingredients, sure that there must be fish oil in it but I don’t see that there is. I’ve tried rotating it to every third day because I hate to waste any product and I’ve found other Ordinary products to be dependable, but I’ve finally decided that it’s not worth the smell and have tossed it. If you don’t mind fish odors, this might be for you. I couldn’t use it consistently enough to say if it did anything. Sorry Ordinary, I buy a lot of your products and feel that they are good value and benefit my skin. Just not this one.

Good on the skin, has a smell

I bought this on october 16 and I just received it friday, it feels good on the skin, but it has a weird smell. I dont know why.

I’ve gotten this product again and again. It’s one of the most affordable vitamin-C serums out and one of the most effective.

Ruined my face.

In terms of texture it’s fine though I do regret buying the product. I have never had this type of breakout before and I am so worried that my perfectly good skin is ruined. If you have a sensitive skin please do not attempt this product
