This has surprising staying power for a gloss. The wear is not sticky, but has a thick luxurious feel and a very light sweet flavor. I can't really discern an scent so if it has one it's very mild or my nose is very stopped up. It's quite a pricey little thing, but worth the splurge.

Hydrating balm

This lip product is one of those easy grabs I keep reaching for. The consistency is really smooth and balmy, not sticky at all, and it just glides on without needing a mirror. It’s definitely on the sheer side, but in a good way. It gives that glossy, hydrated look instead of full color, and it makes your lips look a little fuller just from how moisturized they feel. No weird taste or scent either, which I appreciate. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day, like you forget it’s even on, but your lips still look put together. And I actually love the tube. It feels really sleek and makes application super quick and clean. Just overall very wearable and kind of effortlessly polished.

Glossy shine, balm application, sticky texture

I tried the YSL Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick in shade 18 Bubble Gum, a sheer soft neutral pink. Its smells great and is a product I can put on and not worry if I used too much because it's the perfect shade for a natural looking lip with the shine of a gloss and the application of a balm. The candy glaze lip gloss is described as a "non-sticky jelly texture" though I find myself disagreeing with that. I do really like this lip product, but it does feel thick and sticky to me. Its YSL, so the pricepoint is higher as well.

This lip gloss stick is smooth as butter, it isn't sticky, it has almost a watermelon scent, but no flavor. The color flushes my lips beautifully. And it is very smooth. It has a shiny finish, but not sticky in any way.I highly recommend it.
