Resvératrol 3% + Acide Férulique 3M - Sérum Antioxydant

Skincare staple

Love this stuff. I have sensitive skin and it’s strong, so I mix a drop or two into my moisturizer and then layer it over either TO niacinamide or ascorbic acid. The latter more or less replicates that pricey CE serum (my moisturizer has vit E) at a fraction of the cost. Glowy goodness.

Adverse skin reaction- don't use on sensitive skin

This Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% gave me an adverse skin reaction on my face and neck (redness, itching, swelling, then crusting and peeling. It took a couple times to figure out which product was causing this reaction. It's this antioxidant serum. Just horrible - looks really bad and takes a week to heal each time. Tossed this product in the garbage.

Could be beneficial/ Sensitive skin beware

I’ve been using this product on and off for about 3-4 months, more as a proactive supplement as I don’t have visible dark spots but spend a lot of time outdoors so I won’t speak to the specifics of visual improvement but overall I like the formula, it’s oil-like but absorbs well Even with someone with oily skin. I had to knock off a few stars just because I think Ordinary products can be overly harsh. After a few months of using this with no issue- I started developing severe contact dermatitis every time I used this. Especially if any of this got into my eyelids ( I tried to avoid but with the consistency it was hard at times). This was pretty intense- I had redness, swelling, itching, burning and my skin turned thick dry and patchy along my jaw and anywhere around my eyes. Lasted for a week! Just a warning for others!

Do. Not. Touch. This.

I used this serum on tuesday evening with no issues. I added it second time on wednesday evening and after a while a tingling sensation started. I washed my face, took an antihistamine and went to bed. On thursday I woke up with red, swollen and itchy face. Took more antihistamine and put on some steroid cream. I had to travel that day so no time for doctor. During the day it got eaven worse. First itchy papules and by the evening large pustules, wich were seeping viscous.yellowish fluid by morning. Finally this morning I got to see a doctor, she was shocked. Now I’m also taking prednisolone. So far no signs of improvement. One star is way too much.

My moisturizer

I have fungal acne (Malassezia) which is not like regular acne. It is very hard for me to find moisturizer for my skin. Since this has a light oil base, I use this to keep my skin moist and soft. Best of all, it does not feed fungal acne so my skin is clear and soft, not to mention all the other benefits it provides. Please don't discontinue this product. With my luck, it probably will be. :(

Not good at all (for me)

For me this product does not work at all. It makes my skin burn to infinity. I gave time between uses but it was of no use. It was a waste of money. I won´t say it won't work for other people, but be careful. This is the only product of this brand with which I had a problem. Generaliiy my experinece with retinot and others has been very good.

Wonderful antioxidant

I've used this for years. I combine it with Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F to get an even better version of the very expensive CE ferulic serum that's out there. And this one doesn't smell like bacon!

this is my first time using this serum , I saw a lot of very positive review on Youtube about this product and now I know why. It really make your skin glow , I have a lot of dark spots and this serum with the Alpha Arbutin 2% are helping my sun spots to slowly fade . I use the serum at night , it does have smell, but I really don't mind. So I will purchase this again for sure

Eye eye

Used this for years and absolutely loved it it was amazing. Opened a new bottle two month ago and had a reaction on my eyes really badly swollen. Anyway, eliminated a number of things eyes been fine for a while. Used this today and my eyes are swollen again. Think the formula must have changed so upset cos this was my staple piece.

Great Texture

Favourite thing about this product is how it glides on the skin with any product (or none) underneath. You don't need to use too much at a time. Has never made my very sensitive skin tingle. Also, it's hard to say no to resveratrol at this price. What I dislike about this product and most of TO's others are that it is well known how unstable resveratrol is and how easily it oxidizes. Antioxidative products like these should be kept in better packaging that prevents repetitive air (& potentially water) exposure. I noticed my product change colour after about a month.

I like the texture.

It can be compared to more expensive similar products.
