Super soft and buttery during application, it feels so good on the lips! It doesn’t have that glittery finish like the ads show, but the shine is elegant and really pretty. The color is very sheer, almost just a gloss, but I don’t mind layering a little lipstick underneath when I want more pigment. The formula is enriched with shea butter, jojoba oil, and hyaluronic acid, which keeps my lips hydrated and smooth.. I love and need this since I'm spending a lot of time in the sun and heat lately. And the packaging? So chic and adorable! I just wish it were refillable to reduce waste.

I am very pleased with the lipsticks as I live now in New Mexico and needed a creamery lipstick as it’s a lot dryer here than Texas. Just wish you had a creamer makeup.

Beautiful packaging, formula just okay

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is my second YSL lip product - the first being a Candy Glaze lip gloss stick (which became my favorite new gloss). I didn’t find the butter balm formula to be quite as moisturizing and soft as the gloss, and it has a strange scent and after taste in comparison. The packaging for both products is quite lux, with a little weight to them that makes them feel especially nice to hold and apply. There is not much pigment in the balm, so the color being cooler than I’d normally choose wasn’t a problem. It wears nicely, but overall, I’d choose the gloss formula over the balm.

A+ everyday gloss!!

Amazing!!! Everything about the glide of this product, and hydrating feel are exceptional. The color is so cute for everyday wear. Being a more pricey product, the packaging is perfect. The gloss feels natural and doesn’t smell. It’s perfect all day. I left this product in my car so I can use it anytime before going somewhere.
