Pump doesn’t work

Was super excited to try this out. The swatch I did was the perfect shade. When I went to apply it the next day the applicator pump didn’t work. A major waste of money.

J'ai testé des dizaines d'autobronzants mais je reviens toujours à celui-ci : il tient plus longtemps que la plupart des autobronzants (je dirais au moins 5 jours) et s'estompe discrètement. L'odeur est très agréable et le rendu naturel. Je reçois toujours des compliments sur mon (faux) bronzage. Je le recommande , il est exceptionnel. Je prends le vert en automne/hiver et sur le visage, et le violet en printemps/été sur le corps.

Smell, broken pump - would not recommend

The pump broke on first use and this stuff smells horrible. It will get in your pores and you will smell like it for at least 2 days post-use. But, the tan is very pretty but it is very hard to tell if you missed a spot.

the pump broke when i was halfway through the bottle but i can still make it work and it is an amazing, natural looking tan that has easy application

I love the water spray from this brand, but tried the mouse and didn’t have the same results. After the second use the pump broke. Will stick to the spray

The pump on this product is absolutely miserable. I would not recommend purchasing until the manufacturer fixes whatever is going on. The formula is great but Isles of Paradise is dropping the ball by such poor packaging. This is the second bottle I've experienced issues with and have officially lost confidence in the brand.

my first time buying cause i heard it was great and i got three pumps out of it and the pump stopped working not only is the tanner coming out liquid from the nozzle it is also coming out the sides which caused half of the tanner to go to waste very disappointed will be returning tomorrow

Horrible! Run!

This is the worst self-tanner I’ve used- and I’ve been using self tanners for 30+ years…I exfoliated, shaved and moisturized as directed. I’ve never had this type of response from any other tanning product!

The pump broke ?

Color is not bad. However, the pump stopped pumping after a few minutes of me using it - this has never happened to me with any other pump fake tan or product. Very inconvenient to have to pour the product onto my mitt. Still not as dark as I would like.

It’s a self tanner—let’s keep in mind the correct prep!! You have to exfoliate & moisturize well prior to application. Without those two things, ur doomed. Let’s keep in mind this is my first ever self tanner purchase. But these are my thoughts and findings from a couple applications: 1. The clear product is a game changer, absolutely no color transfer to my sheets or clothing. 2. The mousse application is just as I expected. I have not tried their oils, so I can’t compare, but I have no complaints about the texture. Not sticky at all. I would agree with their marketing that says it’s hydrating. 3. Smell. It does have a minor smell but I applied it before bed and it was gone in the AM. It was not a dealbreaker for me. 4. The color I think is pretty important. I am not a bronzed girly, but I got the purple—the darkest shade. I may end up switching to the medium to try it out. I loved how the purple developed and it was an 7/10 color in my opinion. A little more orange than I wanted to be, especially in natural sunlight, but literally only on my face. My body color was great!! If you’re indoors, I would say it’s less of a problem. 5. Application. What I did: Exfoliate 24 hours before with a dry brush. Day of: exfoliate in shower, apply my squalene oil to dry skin (my moisturizer), then apply product. I started at my legs and went up. Did not even touch my wrists/hands or ankles/feet until I was completely done with my body. I did not add more product to the mitt after I did my face, swiped my feet once and swiped from my wrist down my fingers once each side. Note: bend your fingers when you apply, otherwise you miss the knuckle skin and end up with lines where the tanner did not reach. 6. Final comments. Their mitt was a huge problem, product went through and turned my hands very orange. (Do not purchase their mitt.) Specifically my knuckles and my pointer finger on my left hand?? Foam nozzle does not work.

This was my go-to must have or I panic tanner last summer. I have so far bought 3 bottles this summer and every single one has stopped pumping. As one reviewer said the last one stopped after 3 uses. The first two times I thought might be my fault for leaving it in a bag where it was sideways or upside down but this is their problem and one I hope they fix asap. Until then do not buy.

Pump WILL break on you. Save your money.

Every time I’ve bought this product within the past year/year and a half, the pump ALWAYS breaks… which is a big deal because this is a foam product and doesn’t apply as well without the pump making it totally useless when the pump inevitably breaks. This recent purchase, I was only able to use the product ONCE before the pump broke. So disappointing because this used to be my go to self tanner and I have used it for years with no problem in the past. ISLE OF PARADISE! FIX THE PUMP! Won’t be buying again. Too frustrating!
