Simple, everyday moisturizer

I recently tried The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan, complimentary from The Ordinary, and I’ve really been enjoying it. The texture is lightweight but still super hydrating, and it absorbs quickly without feeling greasy. It layers really well with the rest of my skincare and works great under makeup. My skin feels softer, more hydrated, and comfortable throughout the day. If you’re looking for a simple, everyday moisturizer that hydrates without being heavy, this one is definitely worth trying!

Not sticky

This moisturizer was gifted to me by theordinary and is not sticky, but it is a thicker consistency. It did not feel heavy on my skin and was hydrating. I would recommend buying the mini version to test out if it is right for your skin!

Amazing!!

It has quickly become one of my favorite moisturizers. The moisturizing gifted by theordinary hydrates my skin really well without feeling heavy or greasy. The texture is creamy but absorbs quickly, leaving my skin soft and comfortable throughout the day. I also love that it’s fragrance-free, which makes it great for sensitive skin. It works perfectly under makeup and keeps my skin looking healthy and hydrated.

So-so

It's pleasant to use but within 10 mins my face feels very dry and tight again. I'm an oily, sensitive skin type, but even this isn't enough for me. I have to top it with Squalane oil (which is a godsend I strongly recommend) and sometimes even petroleum jelly on top also to really lock in. I compared washing my face and using this after, and washing my face and using nothing, and no lie, it felt identical. I think it's lacking in occlusive ingredients so I feel TEWL is the main issue here. I could be wrong though, I'm no skincare scientist.

Starts strong… doesn’t last long.

Started off strong, but was severely disappointing after 30 minutes. Save your money and go for something like Byoma Gel Cream…

Very good moisturizer

I was gifted by theordinary in exchange for my honest review. This moisturizer is great. This moisturizes my skin well. My skin looks healthier than before. Very little of this moisturizer goes a long way.

Amazing moisturizer

This product was complimentary from the ordinary and I’m obsessed with this cleanser! It’s very lightweight and isn’t scented which is a huge plus. My skin always feels moisturized after I use this product.

What I like most is the minimal yet effective ingredient list. The formula contains natural moisturizing factors, ceramides, and beta-glucan, which helps support the skin barrier and retain moisture. Beta-glucan is known for soothing irritation and strengthening the skin barrier while drawing hydration into the skin. Over time, I noticed my skin felt more balanced and comfortable, especially on days when it felt dehydrated or slightly irritated. It layers really well under sunscreen and makeup too.

This was gifted to me by theordinary and I love it. I have oily skin and this moisturizer works so well with my skin. It’s has a gel consistency and gives a nice cooling moment when applied. Moreskin!

Skin felt dry and not moisturized

I found the gel format not moisturizing enough for me. It felt drying, and my skin felt very tight after applying the gel. My skin is between oily and combination — I think this moisturizer would be better for someone who has very oily skin.

Light and great for oily skin

complimentary from theordinary - for those with oily skin type this moisturizer is super light but hydrating. It doesn’t leave a sticky feeling either. Doesn’t have fragrance if your skin is sensitive like that. Wish it was a bigger size though.
