I started using this about a month ago and I love it, it gives a nice natural tan I get so many compliments on it. This will be my go to for a nice tan look.

It definitely made me tan… and by that I mean orange. It was embarrassing walking around orange, I scrubbed my body so many times and it definitely did not come off. I do not recommend.

Natural self-tan look

I am a big fan of this self-tanning body butter, as it is easy to apply and doesn’t come out splotchy or orange. It also has a nice glow to it that brightens you up but still looks natural!

this is THE BEST gradual tan moisturizer out there

ok, i know a lot of people have given mixed reviews about this product but hear me out. i use st tropez original tanning mouse. i liked it because it worked better than other products i had tried. that is, until i decided to give this a try. honestly for me, this self tanning body butter takes the cake. if you follow the directions for st tropez, with this body butter, the outcome is just BETTER. my tan is VERY EVEN. i couldnt really get a completely even tan with st tropez no matter what i tried, like i can with this body butter. my legs were always slightly lighter and uneven. and every part of my body that happened to be a bit drier seemed to soak up the tanner no matter how well i exfoliated and moisturized. here is how i achieve such a perfect tan... exfoliate your skin WELL before you apply. AFTER you apply, wait 24hrs before you shower again. do not exfoliate and do not use soap during this shower. only lightly buff skin with hands so your tan finish is not disturbed. once tan is achieved, take daily showers and lightly exfoliate. also use gradual tan moisturizers. tan will last longer and fade more evenly use body shampoos with natural ingredients. bar soaps are harsher on the skin and therefor fade your tan faster. natural ingredients in particular body shampoos will extend your tan. when shower is done, wait until your body is "bone dry" to apply body butter. finish will be darker and more even when you apply to a dry canvas. USE GLOVES WHEN APPLYING. this will ensure the evenness of your finish!! i dont use brushes or mitts because some of the product gets absorbed into them. i just use vinyl or plastic gloves. the active tanning ingredients in isle of paradise body butter absorb into your skin very quickly unlike st tropez products. so once you apply it, you can pretty much dress without worrying about disrupting the evenness of your finish. this stuff doesnt transfer so you wont have to worry about it getting on your clothes or upholstery.

Oh my gosh where do I start. This body butter is SO hydrating, honestly if they made a version of this just as a body butter and no fake tan I would buy it! Gorgeous color and it’s definitely buildable

This gives me the perfect brown without looking orange. It looks natural and it’s perfect for winter weather. Just make sure to pair it with lotion because it dries out your skin.

Self tanning must have

I’ve been using this product for months now, and I still love it. Wouldn’t recommend anything else for self tanning lotion.

Streaky

Streaky mess!!!! So embarrassing. Tried many times thinking I did it wrong but I’m an experienced self tanner. Horrible.

I love it! I have no time to self-tan while caring for my 4 month old. This dries and tans quickly without a bad scent. It doesn’t past last 2 showers without reapplying inbetween

Creamy buttery and clean

I love this stuff- it has streaked a couple times but that’s because I was sweating. I use a 2 hour express mouse and then wash it off and then use this afterwards and I turn out nice and tan looking. Not orange. I don’t care much for the smell but I love the texture it is thick and creamy. Plus the product is clean- you have to remember it sinks into your blood stream so if it’s got clean ingredients it’s much better for you
