The best Vit C serum for combo/oily skin

I'm on my second bottle of this and will continue to purchase. I love that it's a watery consistency and not an oil. I'm 62 and still have combo/oily skin so more oil is the last thing I need or want. Since using this on a regular basis under my daily SPF, I've noticed some hyperpigmentation that's fading very well! My skin is clearer and I've just been more impressed with it lately! I'm using this in conjunction with the Multi-Antioxidant Radiance serum and I've been blown away.

I love the feel of my skin when i added this to may daily routine. It added my moisture and softness to my skin.

Disappointed

I’ve added this product to my routine some months ago and now I almost finished the bottle. After a while, I started to have breakouts on my chin. At first I wasn’t sure about the product that was causing the breakouts so I started to eliminate the items of my routine one by one until it was only this product left! Too late to come here and read the reviews but now I realised that I wasn’t the only one with this issue. A bit disappointed in The Ordinary because in my everyday routine I have at least two of their products.

Holy Grail for dry, sensitive skin

Perfect product for dry, sensitive skin. The first time I got it, I legit saw a significant difference in 4 days. It was so unbelievable that sent a review to my friend and then deleted it in case i was seeing things. It made my skin so smooth to touch and healed my breakouts. I love it so much that I got more ASAP. However I only use it in the PM as using it 2x a day caused irritation.

Avoid if you have even slightly sensitive skin

I kept getting a rash under my brows and on my cheek bones. Process of elimination led me to realise it was this Vitamin C product. I don’t remember reading anywhere that it could do that.

Products are great ; but never in stock

Everytime I run out and want to reorder what I want is either out of stock or discontinued. Time to research other product lines. I don’t mind paying more for accessibility.

Makes every sunscreen pill

I am in a love-hate relationship with this product. I love the texture but it doesnt matter which sunscreen I use after it in my morning routine, it makes all of them pill. That's why I dont plan to buy it again in the future. However, if you want to use it in an evening routine, it would work.
