The smell is horrible do not buy

There is nothing this product can do for the skin to make it worth the smell. It’s so horrible I’m going to have to throw the bottle away. I was hoping maybe if I put it on and it dried and I put other stuff over it that I’d be fine but I can’t get the smell out of my nose. It smells like putting onions on your face.

I like it a lot. It's worked really well for me. It removes blemishes from my skin and does what it's supposed to.

I have been using this product for about a month now and my uneven skin tone is so much better. I’ve tried a lot of other things, but my skin seems to like this the best. It takes time and consistency, but this product really does what it says. I will be repurchasing when I run out. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it.

Careful using with oil serums

I used this product for several months and didn't see improvement to sun spots on my face until I made a change. I was putting on an oil serum on top (was only using these 2 products plus niacinamide 10%) and I believe that was taking this product off. So I just delayed putting on the oil serum until about an hour later after the alpha arbutin had time to soak in, and started to see improvements to the spots. Later I started using one of the retinol products and that seemed to accelerate improvements to everything. After finishing this bottle I intend to switch to something that has a combination for tone brightening ingredients which will target different types of hyperpigmentation rather than this one that's only alpha arbutin.

Only wonders to your skin!

The Ordinary products are beyond spectacular!!!! I do have rosacea so very limited products are good for me but not even the acid exfoliant was rough. I loved: Glycolic acid, Alpha arbutin, 100% plant derived Squalane and natural moisturizing factors. I didn’t love much the caffeine solution on my eyes. Within a month of use I added the Niacinamide and it’s bee doing wonders with my texture. Been using this for two months now and it only gets better. I also think that the IA tool they have is very reliable. I would recommend using it and introduce detail about you current skin situation and goals a few times to confirm the solution it provides is consistent. I can’t wait to try the essences for moisturizing now that the winter is coming. Thank you The ordinary for great, effective and affordable formulas!
