Yes for mature skin

This looks great on my mature skin - I like a light coverage - that looks natural - and feels weightless - and isn’t a matt finish and minimizes my fine lines and also nourishes my skin. Yup this checks all the boxes!

Light/medium coverage that is easy to apply and leaves skin looking like its best version of itself.

It took a fair amount of emailing with three Ilia beauty consultants to find the best shade match, as I live in Central America and can't return products that don't work out, but we finally got there. Getting their explanations of why they recommended the color they chose was very helpful - much more so than the photos on the website page. My skin is light/medium neutral with slightly warm undertones, and they recommended SF5 Salina. I thought it would be too light, but no, it looks perfect. This is a serum foundation, so it's light and easy to spread, but does smooth out the complexion and looks completely natural. I also appreciate the clean skin care ingredients included in this product, which is what brought me to the Ilia website in the first place.

Color is perfect for my skin, just wished a little more coverage for mature skin.

smooth and effortless

This was my first time using an ILIA foundation and I love it. They color-matched it perfectly and it glides onto my skin giving effortless coverage. If I want more coverage, I just add a bit more foundation than normal.

Great consistency

I wanted so bad to love this product, but I am not sure I will. I think it's a shade bit dark for me. I did the color match based off of the Super Serum that I use from ILIA and it chose this color, so I went with it. I like the consistency, but it's like it wants to soak up all the moisture in my skin and my skin usually looks dried out by the end of the day. I tend to go for sheer coverage and a product that is a bit more on the liquidy side vs thick. The consistency is on point for what I like, but just not sure about the end result.

Works for my dry skin

I have very dry skin on my forehead. I have had better luck after switching to this. Though should still be adding moisturizer before this but I am forgetful!

Not sure yet

The jury is still out on this one. Its a very light cover. I've never used anything like it so it is taking me some time to get used to it. I think I may love it in the summer which is why I've kept it.

Too orange

I keep trying to match my skin with this item and as much as I love the feel, texture and coverage...it just has too much orange to match my skin tone. I feel this line should expand their color choices to add cooler tones. Until then, I won’t be buying more.

The color is SO off

The formula itself may be fine but my color "match" is so off and so orange I literally had to immediately take it off and toss it.

Thin consistency

I prefer a super thin/liquidy kind of foundation. This one is not thick at all. It rubs in well if you like to use your fingers. I smoothed it out with a blender brush afterwards. It does not look cakey and feels really good on my skin. I would say this is not a full coverage kind of foundation. It leaves your skin looking natural with a tint. I have a fair complexion and the color matched me with Tavarua SF2.

Nice In Between Serum and Foundation

I like the weight and look of this product. It’s a slight bit more coverage than a serum, but thinner and more lightweight than a foundation. Goes on smoothly, feels good on my skin and doesn’t cake in wrinkles and fine lines. I am over 60 and it’s hard to find anything with any coverage that doesn’t make wrinkles look worse. I was worried about color matching on line, but the shade I received was perfect. I would like a little more coverage, but overall really like this product.

Not the same

I did the check your color online, gave my information and shade then was directed to a shade implying it would match what I had. How about NO! It’s too orange and too dark! I’m waiting to tan a bit to see if it works better. I was so excited to try this brand and save myself a little money but I’m totally disappointed.
