Disappointed

I purchased the Clarins eye pencil two weeks ago because I trust the brand’s high-quality standards and its reputation for dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested products. Unfortunately, this product was a complete disappointment. The first time I used it was right after I bought it. That same evening, I removed my makeup as usual. However, the next morning I woke up and could barely open my eyes, they were red, swollen, and constantly tearing. I had to follow a treatment with eye drops. At that point, I wasn’t 100% sure the product was responsible. A few days later, I decided to try the pencil again, this time on its own, without using any other makeup products on my face. Within a short time, my eyes became red again. Even though I immediately tried to rinse it off, my eyes had already become swollen, irritated, and were continuously tearing. This product is extremely disappointing and potentially unsafe. I do not know which ingredient caused this reaction, but the company should urgently investigate this issue.

Best eyeliner pencil I have found

I have bought the eyeliner in both blue and green, 2nd time buying the blue. So easy to apply, no smudging or clogging, goes on like a professional applied and lasts all day. Really love this eyeliner.

Great Eyeliner

I love Clarin’s waterproof eyeliner pencils. They go on smooth and are gentle on my senior eyes, and will make a straight narrow line or softly smudge. The colors are great. I use emerald as I find it a softer color than black and I have green eyes. Stays perfect all day! Terrific product!

Didn’t last as expected

This glides on beautifully, but it hasn’t stayed put each time I tried it. The edges smudged after a short time. Gorgeous colors tho!

Rubbish

Quality of their eye pencils has gone downhill. This one did not work at all. Was dry and kept snapping. I couldn’t use it at all. I did raise a complaint, but do far no solution.

Love this. The colour is great and it stays all day. Applied very easily.
