Used to be so much better

I was Aveda's biggest fan and loved how this conditioner nourished and smoothed out my hair. I used it for over 15 years and it worked fantastically. Then they changed it and sadly it just isn't the same - it doesn't achieve the same sleek polished look and my hair certainly feels very different. The ends have become very flyaway and I'm just not happy with the way it looks anymore. My mum asked 'What's happened to your hair?' which says it all......

Makes my hair lovely & soft

I did think twice about buying this product based on the reviews - but thought hey I'll give it a go. I'm glad I did, as this leaves my hair super soft yet still holds the curls. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and it's got a natural curl. A lot of products make my hair frizzy but this didn't. Compared to other Aveda shampoo (Botanical, Colour Care, Cherry etc) you do have to use quite a lot more product to get a lather - so it's not as cost effective.

New formula is awful

The previous version of smooth infusion was amazing, game-changing for my hair. But the new version is awful. Leaves my hair looking lank and greasy after washing. I've tried sticking with it for a few weeks now but its horrible and I've had to buy something else. I'll be asking aveda for a refund. I've posted this same review on the shampoo but Aveda have removed it...

Smells gorgeous

I used this alongside the Smooth Infusion shampoo. I have thick, porous 2B waves that have been colour damaged, so struggle with lots of frizz and dryness. This conditioner smells heavenly and my waves seem more defined and feel softer.

Love this product < 3

I really love this product. I have heavily bleached hair which usually gets very tangled and is reallt time consuming to brush and sometimes causes breakage. I find using this conditioner and brushing my hair in the shower with it on its SO easy to brush and then keeps its smooth and conditioned throughout the week too. It is good regardless but hair is even better if i also blow dry. It makes it look really healthy and hold my hair after using rollers really well.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

I felt like this conditioner did everything it needed to. It smoothed my hair and it felt so much softer. It wasn't as hydrating as other conditioners I have used, but it did what my hair needed at the time :)

Worst conditioner I have ever used

Why have you changed this product? The old Smooth Infusion was great. This product makes my hair sticky, drab with no shine. I've tried using the tiniest amount but it's still the same. Also I have a shower over the bath. This product makes the bath so slippery. You should put a warning on your packaging.

Don't waste your money

I like a lot of aveda products but this shampoo and conditioner are the worst I've ever used and the biggest waste of money. They leave my hair greasy and sticky yet dry and just horrible. I've only used it twice - never again.

Nice moisturizing conditioner to keep hair straight

As with the shampoo, I found that the Anti-Frizz line mostly keeps my hair from being wavy after showering, but doesn't flatten the pesky frizzy fly aways. The conditioner is a bit better than the shampoo as it moisturizes very nicely and makes your hair quite smooth and soft. I wasn't 100% sold on the anti-frizz feature, however.
