I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Scandal Intense is a bold, long-lasting scent that quickly became a favorite of mine. With a nice masculine leather base, it is nice and strong, especially in the first few hours, and it easily lasts all day. I love the velvet box and elegant bottle; the presentation feels luxurious. While it leans more toward cooler weather and evening wear, I've worn it during the day and still received compliments. Overall, it's a refined fragrance that makes a statement.

Smells good

Smells like money—rich, luxurious, and powerful. The packaging screams high-end, and the scent lasts all day. A quiet flex in a bottle. Would recommend if you wanna splurge

Versatile crowd pleasure

I did enjoy this cologne. It is a very welcoming scent that will please the masses. While it is not unique it is a scent that will please most noses in imagine. It is a warmer scent so perhaps it is better for cooler weather although I personally would wear this at night in summer as well. I personally do enjoy shape of the bottle. There are meant to be notes of leather. I wish it was a little bit stronger of a leather scent. All in all i do enjoy this fragrance a lot.

Just get it!!

Scandal Pour Homme Intense really surprised me in the best possible way! The caramel and tonka bean give it this sweet, creamy vibe, but the vetiver and woods in the background keep it grounded so it never gets too heavy. There’s also a little freshness from the clary sage that makes it feel modern and balanced. I would definitely recommend it :) If you are on the fence, just go for it!

Nice for a night out

Up there on a level with the Loewe. The smell is very rich stays on all day. Nice for a night out. Was in a lovely velvet box. Price is on a level like others in this category. The bottle is nice looking as well. Handy

Smells Alright

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I honestly thought I would really enjoy this one as I really like the rest of the Scandal line, especially the Absolu version. However, I don’t really like the way this one smells. It still has the signature sweet bubblegum kind of smell, but the added twist is somewhat of a downgrade from the rest. The longevity is pretty good, lasting about 6-7 hours. As for the versatility, I would say it’s better suited for colder weather or evenings. In general, it’s an okay scent but I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase this one for retail price.

Masculine scent

Fantastic product with masculine scent. Well presented so makes for a great gift for someone. The scent lasts all day unlike some of the fake ones.

Bold Bottle, Easy to Wear

Love the bold bottle design and the quality packaging which makes it feel very luxurious. The scent itself is warm with a slightly sweet edge, strong and long-lasting without being overpowering. For me, it doesn’t stand out as much as I expected in terms of uniqueness, but it’s still a solid and versatile fragrance I’d reach for on nights out or even at work when I want something dependable.

Strong projection and sillage. Sweet scent with some earth components. Initially sweet in the opening very blue scent like and the dries down to a musky vetiver

It’s versatile enough for both everyday wear and special occasions. Honestly, I can see this becoming my go-to fragrance from now on.

Not A Typical JPG Fragrance!

Disclaimer: I received this product for free from Influenster and Jean Paul Gaultier, in exchange for my honest review. In the last few years, JPG has been consistently releasing some incredible fragrances. However, in terms of creativity and scent profile, the Scandal Pour Homme line seems to be their weakest. This new 2025 Intense flanker opens up with some aromatic clary sage and then the mid note of vetiver adds a dry and slightly woody earthiness. The leather is noticeable after the first few minutes, but becomes more prominent as the fragrance dries down. As per usual, the performance depends a lot on the person, but off skin, most people are getting around 7-8+ hours, with moderate projection for the first 4-5 hours. The mid and base of the fragrance brings out a safe but noticeable leather note, which adds a bit of depth and intrigue to an otherwise generic fragrance. Due to the lack of overpowering sweetness along with the aromatic opening, the scent itself ends up being quite versatile and a decent option for spring/summer nights. It could even be safe for an office or school setting. It doesn’t have the rich and decadent sweetness that JPG is known for, easily making this the most mature flanker in the Scandal line. The opening is a bit confusing because you get these strong aromatics, but then you also get this interesting undertone of some slightly bitter citrus along with a hint of sweetness. It still smells really high quality, but for a designer fragrance, it seems to lack that last bit of balance and finesse. Overall, for a more mature JPG fragrance, the lack of refinement is somewhat surprising, so I can’t recommend paying full retail for a bottle, but it’s still worth testing because it does add a unique option and an interesting twist to the Scandal DNA.
