Better than I expected!

Used this for 1 week on thin, oily-roots/dry-ends hair. Best part: it’s truly lightweight. Most bond shampoos flatten fine hair, but this keeps movement and doesn’t coat. I can actually condition roots-to-ends without going flat. Noticed less breakage, looks shinier, stays clean longer, and I’ve dropped to washing every other day. Lathers well and a little goes far. Makes hair healthier, not bigger. Still need styling products for lift.Bottom line: If repair products usually weigh you down, this is worth it. Stronger, shinier hair that still moves. A biweekly Clarifying Shampoo Option

I have high density type 4 and 3 patterned multi-textured strands throughout my head so what may help my coarse strands may be gummy and film forming on my medium strands. Now I have no fine textured feeling strands besides some baby hairs but I was curious to try out the Olaplex FINE Bond Maintenance collection. My experience is only with their No.3 Bond Treatment which has been a tried and tested method of true treatment for my hair during damaged periods. While using the shampoo it’s similar in feel to the No.3, creamy and only lightly botanical floral in scent. No strong scents for my allergy prone peoples. It’s not my preference of slip but I also need a trim so that adds additional annoyances. Still in general it’s below my standard of slip for type 3c/4 hair. It definitely doesn’t coat the hair or weigh it down. My scalp was thoroughly cleaned. Without dryness or irritation. I struggle with buildup and I definitely got a clean slate and nearly squeaky clean strands. This didn’t provide a moisturizing balance for my dry hair my scalp was good but my hair fell on the wayside of moisture level. It was necessary for me to go in with a moisturizing shampoo. Personally it served more as a clarifier but not a deep cleansing clarifier that’d I’d go to regularly. Due to the lack of slip and moisture felt like it was a tad too high in ph to call it moisture balancing. *This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Olaplex No. 4 FINE Shampoo: Repair & Strength

This shampoo has been a game changer for my fine hair. I’m always careful with shampoos because so many of them leave my hair feeling flat or stripped, but this one manages to clean thoroughly while still feeling gentle and strengthening.What really stands out is how lightweight it feels. My new favorite!

This quickly has become my new favorite shampoo. I had never used Olaplex of any kind prior to trying this out. It immediately won me over. I absolutely adore the amount of lather, it really helps me to feel that I am getting my hair clean! The scent is also so refreshing. This did such a great job really giving my hair a good clarifying clean. It helped give my hair some body and appears so much healthier! I love how soft it is too. Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo

I've been hesitant writing this review and have made each attempt at using this shampoo a positive, hopeful one hoping that every new time would get better. I really wanted to love this shampoo, it just didn’t work for my 2a/2b hair type. Now, I have fine hair, but have been told I have a lot of hair. This product feels like it's cleansing my hair, it smells great and feels luxurious, however, it did make my hair feel a little too dry. Even after following up with the corresponding conditioner, I started to notice buildup after one day. I had high hopes for a clean, refreshed feel, but it never quite delivered that for me. It’s not a bad product, just not the right match for my hair. The prior duo I used for a while didn't give me the same experience. I'm still an Olaplex fan! My hair is full!

I have been impressed by some Olaplex products, and some have been mediocre. This is one of the products I LOVE! After two weeks of using this shampoo, I can honestly say that it treats my fine hair as a first class citizen. The extra build up and oil is gone from my scalp, and my strands are full and strong. I can get a great blowout that has full and healthy hair without extra effort or a lot of styling product. Binding shampoo

With olaplex products, you know you're getting quality. This shampoo strengthened my fine/thin hair really nicely. I could actually feel it changing after a few days of use. I could notice less flyaway hair, more body and less breakage in my daily routine. The scent is lightweight and pleasant, nothing too chemically or like the salon. My hair felt clean but not that too clean feeling. My biggest complaint is the packaging. The bottle is small, about half the size of a typical bottle of shampoo and the cap! The cap!!! I'm not sure if it's just me but it's impossible to open with my fingers in the shower. I have to pry it on my metal shampoo shelf everyday. It was OK

I really wanted to love this shampoo because of all the hype around Olaplex, but unfortunately it didn’t work for my hair. After a few uses, my hair felt noticeably dry and a bit stripped, especially through the ends. I didn’t get that soft, hydrated feel I usually look for in a shampoo. It does lather nicely and a little goes a long way, but I found myself needing extra conditioner just to bring moisture back. Great for fine hair

This shampoo really helps calm my frizzy,unruly hair and makes it more manageable while still giving it some volume.The issue I usually have with most shampoos is that they either leave my hair too dry which makes the frizz worse or weigh it down,so it ends up flat.I didn’t have that problem with this one.I have fine hair with oily roots and I feel like this works really well for that type. It also smells nice and you don’t need much product,so it lasts a while. BEST FIX FOR DAMAGED HAIR

I️ honestly have extremely heat damaged fine hair. I️ previously had a keratin treatment that’s growing out on my 4a hair. I’ll be honest, I’m not that great at taking care of my hair especially when I’m on the go. Olapex really does a great job at cleaning and repairing my fine hair. I️ have low density hair and sometimes heavy products just weigh my hair down or cause my hair to lose the light airy feeling. Great Product

I absolutely love this Olaplex No. 4 Fine Bond Maintenance shampoo. This product will not disappoint you at all. I love the way it smells and it suds up so fast and rises out so easy. My hair has so much life to it after using this product for over a week now. I've had so many people ask what did I do to my hair and I tell them it's as simple as a different shampoo. I can't even keep up with how many compliments I've received. My hair feels so soft and smells so good.
