Milk Orchid - Parfum

Disappointing

I am not a fan of this at all. It smells like screechy white florals and rancid sunscreen to me. I get no fig, milk or orchid at all, just artificial coconut that has gone bad. It's unfortunate that this only comes in one size; I would have liked to get a travel size bottle to see if I like it first before purchasing the big bottle.

Reminds me of Guava Granita from Ellis Brooklyn minus the strong fruity notes. Coconut is always overwhelming to my nose, but as a whole it is a pretty, soft twist on a coconut cream. Not getting much fig but I will have to wear it some more to see how it reacts to my skin

Not great

This is an okay summer fragrance but overall smelled just like a inexpensive coconut. Very underwhelming as a lot of the notes didn’t come through since they were overwhelmed by the coconut.

Sweet Coconut Cream

I LOVE this perfume!! It is a delicious coconut cream forward fragrance with sugared notes of magnolia. It is sweet, delicious, pink and very coconut heavy. I love layering this with other vanilla perfumes in my collection, and its amazing to wear to bed! It also layers very well with the original Milk by Commodity.

Don’t blind buy

Again I was influenced by influencer reviews. This is OK. I really don’t like the scent. It’s cloying and the floral is not pleasant. The bottle isn’t very attractive either. It was a blind buy that I regret.

Horrible!

I bought this on pre-order blind without a sample, and whew. It's disgusting. Smells milky and floral-y with a dash of toilet cleaner. It doesn't last longer than 5 minutes (thank god) and I advise anyone to smell it before purchasing. It's headache inducing!

Milk takes Over

I don’t love it but I do like it. Not enough fig for me. The milk and coconut overtakes everything else. It does last and it’s an easy everyday scent.

I returned it :(

My first blind buy because I love the girl on IG who helped create the perfume. Sad to say that all I could smell was coconut….:( It was very clean and light and gave me no headache. A hint of floral lasted about 5 minutes. I tried to be patient with the dry down but the coconut smell became even stronger. I decided to return it as I would never reach for it again. Ok this is different than what I thought it would be. But hear my out, when trying this wait for the dry down. It opens with a tropical fruity scent, then goes into musky coconut, but then on the dry down.... on my skin it turns into the dry down of the milk perfume- woody, sweet. On clothes it has this sweet floral creamy type scent, which is what i expected right off the bat. This transformation is what makes it worth keeping for me. At least so far lol

basic tropical coconut scent, which I love but not entirely what I was expecting from this. the miami nectar allegations are true I fear. still a nice scent though if you like coconut beachy fragrances!

New everyday scent

This perfume is an absolutely beautiful scent. It is definitely not a gourmand fragrance. It is a beautiful creamy, lactonic, floral fragrance. With notes of coconut and fig and dries down to a nutty clean cotton scent. It is a great everyday fragrance that can be worn during the day or at night and any season. If you like lactonic clean scents this is the perfect perfume for you!

Most Disappointing Release of 2025

I love the Influenser behind this fragrance and i've been following her milk journey for a while and have trusted her nose. I for one absolutely adore milk scents. I own both Commodity Milk and Milk Bold and other milk fragrances from various brands. So you can imagine how excited I was to get my hands on the MILK Orchid. I expected it to be a milky floral (I love flormands). However, to my nose it's a juvenile, tropical, more musky than milky fragrance. The florals are not prominent it's like a tropical (pina colada vibes) coconut which is super musky and on my skin it just does not develop into anything special. I do get the macadamia milk on the dry down but it's overpowered by that coconut and muskiness. It's just not giving real milk it's like a vegan tropical Pina Colada which is just so off putting. I expected more.
