Not a fan of the scent! 😷

I took 2 stars off for the scent and consistency of the lotion. First off I ordered this lotion online because I’m usually a huge fan of amber, bergamot, and sweet scents. I was NOT expecting it to smell eerily similar to chai tea. I now realize my mistake was not being aware that amber and ambre are different. I wish I would have returned it and gotten bergamot instead. I now use this lotion whenever I don’t feel like using my good lotions… and as for the consistency it’s a bit watery but still does its job at hydrating.

Weird reaction

I don’t know why, but if I use this one and go out, it has a super weird reaction, it smells like bayside, fishy and rotten🤢 I tried on my husbands skin too- the same. If you’re using it home, it’s ok.

Thin and runny

Purchased this product elsewhere but nonetheless did not like it! Super thin and runny. Also be careful when opening the bottle to get product out as the lid cut my finger open.

If you're looking for deep hydration; keep shopping. Like the description states, this truly is a lightweight lotion. I live in a very dry climate and my skin looks dry within an hour or so of using. ......however! .....it smells amazing, so 3 stars!

Terrible product

This body lotion is extremely watery and drying to my skin. After using it for a couple of days by body had the roughest feeling to it, this has never happened with other lotions before. Extremely disappointing.

Scent good. Body lotion.. NO

Smells amazing like original Moroccan oil scent but not moisturizing. It’s a very watery texture and I only use it on top on my moisturizer for the scent but if you’re looking for results of moisturized skin this isn’t the one for you.

Must have it for after shower use.

I used this product for two weeks and i like the texture and formula but my skin is really really dry so doesn’t work on my skin type. I really like their hand cream better than body lotion

Lovely smell, soothing comfort

Immediate glow and rehydration

I had the ambiance de plage scent as a sample. I enjoyed it very much and would buy full size in the future. It definitely is lightweight, which is nice for people who don't like the feeling of residue on their skin. I noticed an immediate change in the feel and look of my skin, vibrant and smooth. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good quality moisturizer.

Not worth it.

Doesn't really smell like that signature Moroccanoil scent, very very thin and lightweight, leaves almost a chalky feeling once it dries. Paired it with the Moroccainoil Body Oil spray and it definitely improves in both aspects, that is why it has two stars. For the price, I recommend going with the body butter or a different lotion entirely. So sad because I do LOVE majority of the Moroccainoil products, but would not recommend this one.

More suitable for oily skin

I got a sample of Amber Noir lotion with my recent purchase. I found the fragrance of the lotion to be a bit strong. It feels lightweight as well but not too hydrating. I think it would be more suitable for oily to normal skin.

Doesn’t smell like amber AT ALL. There’s barely a scent to it even.
