Juice Expressive

Gross. so sweet, doesn't smell like any fruit or juice i've encountered. gave me a headache. uninspired.

Not For Me

This is a big no for me. It’s probably just my body chemistry but I didn’t get any of the notes listed in Juice. It was sickly sweet in the opening, then dried down to a very strong, almost isopropyl alcohol-esque scent with some subtle sweetness mixed in. Ironically, Juice was the longest lasting Commodity scent I’ve tried, and in this case that wasn’t a good thing lol! I ended up smelling like I chugged Everclear and tried to cover it with sweet body spray. I love Commodity, especially Moss and Gold Expressive…but Juice is not my jam.

Mistake

What even. I got this for free as a sample and I can tell why. In the bottle it smells mediocre, once sprayed like gasoline with a side of rubbing alcohol. It's been a few minutes and my nose is throbbing and my head hurts. When I approached my friend her eyes started to water and burn. No thanks.

Actual Juice

This is by far the most realistic fragrance I own. It is so crisp, refreshing, and juicy. It’s clean, easy to wear, feminine, and comfortably light. Commodity nailed this. A compliment puller for sure.

I have no idea what that smell is once the perfume dries down but I can tell you it smells horrible. It got into my nose and all It’s all I could smell. Dries down into a manly smelling cologne. Not sure if that was the intention or r what. It’s like a bad version of a spicy fragrance but there’s no smell of fruit at all.

This perfume Smells amazing, received a sample and it smells Similar to Angel nova.

My new favorite

Based on the notes I would not have purchased this, but luckily I tried it in a sampler kit and it’s amazing! It’s not a super sweet smell and almost has a bit of musk to relax it a bit. It works really well with my skin chemistry and is super long lasting- I can still smell it on me after showering or swimming in the lake hours later!

Buying for the rest of my life

I am absolutely in love with this scent. I picked it out to wear in my wedding day and I am so glad I did. Not only were all of my guests talking me how wonderful I smelled all day, but now my favorite scent is linked to my favorite day.

Meh

This is just an ok scent. It doesn't last very long and it smells unisex. To me its not the perfume that people compliment on nor want to know what it is. There is nothing special about it. To me it kinda smells old ladyish. Back when perfumes just were not that great and all smelled similar. I expected more.

strong and bright spring scent

I like floral perfumes, this is definitely a strong spring scent. extremely fruity and bright. berries is an excellent way to describe it, I do smell the slight rose in it as well once it has sat on my skin for a couple minutes. the sample sizes of these perfumes always has so much in it, I also have a sample size of Milk by Commodity as well and it has lasted me forever as I cycle through my collection. very feminine, cutesy scent. received as a sample but will be buying the full size when shopping for perfumes next.

For those who like vibrant berry & rose scents

This review is based on the sample of Commodity Juice Expressive included in the Sephora Favorites Fruits & Flowers Travel Spray Perfume Discovery Set. There’s a lot of product in this sample size; I’ve had it for 3 weeks, testing it at least once a week (a spritz on each wrist, the inner arm and behind each ear), and there seems to be quite a bit of product still remaining in the sample spray. TL;DR: Berries and roses come together in a big, juicy way, with the berry notes being more prominent from the get go. Moderate longevity; I get about 5-6 hours of wear beore the scent almost fully fades away. WHAT I SMELL: * On the very first spray, I'm greeted with an intense (and slightly overwhelming) burst of sweet, vibrant, almost syrupy, fruit notes, the berries. It's a bit of a surprise as it's not what I would consider a common way to start off as far as Commodity fragrances go. The intensity of the fruit forward scent fades quickly but remains discernible for as long as the fragrance does. * The next layer is softer, but still fresh. I pick up the scent of rose petals, tinged with subtle notes of sweet honey and berry notes and very slight green scent in the background that on different occasions has a bit of a sharpness to it without being pungent or too tart. I'm not sure what it is but it sneaks its way in quickly and then disappears as the honeyed rose scent comes forward and lingers before the fragrance begins its dry down. FYI: * It has moderate longevity; I can get about 5-6 hours of wear before the scent fades almost fully * Commodity Juice Expressive is one of three fragrance concentrations from the brand's Juice collection. * A feminine scent * Best suited for the warmer season BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * If you like bright, sweet, fruity scents, this is one worth checking out. * BYE: This is a little overly sweet and fruity on its own for my liking, so it's a pass for me, but it did layer beautifully with a soft vanilla perfume from another bra

Perfect long lasting summer scent!

This is the PERFECT summer scent. I tested other fruity scents in store and was disappointed by their smell, but this one is literally heaven. The smell doesn’t change much over time, unless other perfumes whose smell drastically lose the juiciness after 15 minutes.
