Nice scent, that’s growing on me

I bought a travel size because I liked the scent on me and wanted to try it before committing to a full bottle. Surprisingly, the lavender isn’t overpowering and is well balanced. I don’t get much vanilla, but there is a hint of sweetness to it. On the dry down, I am not sure how I feel about it. I still don’t get vanilla out of it. I think it might take some time for it to grow on me. Lavender is a new note for me and I am not the biggest lavender fan so I am thinking it will take some time for me to get used to. Out of habit, I put a fragrance free oil base (coconut oil, body oil, etc.) on places I plan to apply the perfume before spraying to make it last longer. However, when I tried it at the store it definitely lasted a good two hours or more and projected well.

Great everyday perfume

Obviously I love the Burberry goddess and you can see that from how much perfume I had used. It is my everyday perfume and I just love it so much. Delicious scent!

Smells amazing, beautiful packaging, lasts long

I love this perfume. I was never one to wear perfume but I suddenly became interested in finding one for daily use that will make me feel a bit more confident after becoming a mom. I just wanted that clean girl, put together vibe. This perfume is that. Smells so heavenly and you don’t need a lot for it to last all day. And the bottle is gorgeous. I love looking at it on my shelf. Makes me feel so luxe.

My favorite bedtime perfume ♥️

This is one of the few designer fragrances that I bought a full bottle of! It’s such a cozy and inoffensive scent. I primarily use it before bed layered with Lush’s Sleepy body spray to bring out the lavender. I can still smell it on my clothes 8+ hours later. It’s such a beautiful sweet gourmand-ish scent. It’s primarily a vanilla but the lavender and ginger make it more interesting.

The only perfume you’ll need to own!

I do not use many scented products in general but I have to have this perfume! I searched high and low for the perfect scent and this is it! Not only is the scent perfect but the bottle is elegant and beautiful on the counter. I wear this everyday, perfect for every season!

It’s definitely a warm and comforting fragrance. I don’t think the notes are overly sweet or overpowering, they’re just perfect. The longevity is definitely impressive. I think it’s classy and unique.

Burberry Goddess EDP. I wore this for six months s

I want to be upfront about something. I bought this when it first came out before TikTok got a hold of it and turned it into the fragrance equivalent of a Stanley cup. Before the 20 dupes. Before every beauty influencer was doing a video about it. I am telling you this because it matters to how I review it. Burberry Goddess opens with a trio of vanilla notes layered with lavender, cacao and ginger. On my skin the lavender almost disappears entirely which I have since learned is a very common skin chemistry thing with this fragrance. What I get instead is a warm, deep, cozy vanilla that feels anything but simple. This is not your grandmother's vanilla. This is not a body spray vanilla. This is a grown woman who knows exactly what she wants vanilla and that distinction is important. There is a slight powdery quality in the base that I pick up occasionally and I will be honest it can lean a little in the direction of classic perfume on certain days or with too many sprays. I do not think most people notice it and it is never overwhelming but my nose picks up on it. Consider it a very minor personal note rather than a flaw in the fragrance because overall the blending here is genuinely beautiful. Longevity on my skin is solid at 4 to 6 hours and on clothing it easily goes 8 hours plus. The projection is an intimate warm cloud that draws people in. Not a fragrance that walks into a room before you do but absolutely one that makes people lean in and ask what you are wearing. I got compliments constantly when this was my signature and that was before everyone else was wearing it too. Here is my only real issue and it has nothing to do with the fragrance itself. It blew up. It went everywhere. The dupes made it even more mainstream and at a certain point I started smelling it on everyone and their mama and I quietly retired it to the back of my collection. That is not Burberry's fault. That is just the unfortunate fate of a genuinely great fragrance that deserved better than becoming background noise. I plan to bring it back out. The hype is starting to cool and this fragrance is too good to leave sitting on a shelf. Skip it in hot weather because the richness gets heavy fast. This is fall, winter and cool evening material all the way. Date night. Night out with the girls. Any occasion where you want to smell undeniably feminine and confident without trying too hard. Spray count matters here so do not go overboard and you will be completely fine. If you have not tried it yet it is absolutely worth experiencing at least once. Some fragrances earn their hype and this is one of them.

Definitely my favorite

This is one of my favorites perfumes and it’s one of those perfumes that feels clean but still a little warm and feminine at the same time. The main vibe I get is vanilla, but not that super sweet bakery kind it’s softer, more elegant, almost creamy with a hint of lavender in the background. It’s easy to wear during the day but still smells polished enough for night. Projection is moderate, people will notice if they’re close but it’s not overpowering. Longevity on me is pretty good, especially on clothes. Bottle is really pretty too, feels luxe and simple. Only thing is if you don’t like vanilla at all, this probably won’t be your thing.
