Forget Frizz - Shampoing anti-frisottis

Drying

This shampoo is so drying and doesn’t lather, the conditioner isn’t great either. I only like the smell and the bottle design but I would skip this one if you have fine hair.

Great for frizzy hair!

Used this last night and loved it! Smells incredible and helped my frizzy hair a ton. I have curly hair so keeping the frizz down is very hard to do. Love using the shampoo and conditioner and many of their other products.

I received a amika shampoo for free from influencer to make a review for it to be honest. It wasn't for my hair Tybe and make the hair oily

At first i received amika shampoo from influencer for free ..... it came in nice packaging funky its a good shampoo but keep the hair oily its not for me Maybe make shine but it wasn't for my hair

Gets the job done

This shampoo is very light! It cleans my hair and gets the job done but the conditioner is better. It does not leave any residue! It might not be my favorite product from amika.

Staple in my shower

This is an absolute staple in my shower! I used to only use Drybar products and once I tried this, I am now a complete convert to AMIKA! My hair has never looked better and I get so many compliments since I started using this. Highly recommend. 

It works!

I have freeze frizzy dry curly hair..it is really hard to find a product that works but since I have been using this shampoo and conditioner my hair is more manageable and looks hydrated. Definitely adding to my routine moving forward.

Horrible new formula DON’T BUY

The new formula is SO BAD!!! I had used the original formula of Velveteen Dream and it was absolutely the best shampoo I had ever used. No matter what my hair would look and feel amazing. But now with the new formula my hair gets dull, dry at the ends and greasy at the roots. It looks awful and feels even worse, and it doesn’t even help with the frizz at all. I would never buy this again or recommend this product to anyone ever. I’m so disappointed because it’s not a cheap product, specially if you buy both shampoo and conditioner which is my case. So frustrating, DO NOT BUY!!!

waxy residue

2 stars instead of 1 because technically it did cut down on frizz, but manages this by leaving a thick waxy residue in the hair to weigh it down, so doesn't clean the hair at all and my scalp was greasy hours before it normally is with my typical shampoo. The scent is also very strong and while I can see some people enjoying the smell, it wasn't my personal taste. I don't think this is worth any amount of money.

Hydrating but leaves residue

After using this shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks, my hair feels hydrated but it leaves a residue no matter how much I rinse it. The scent smells really good

Smoothing

It’s a nice shampoo, my hair is still frizzy But it’s smoothing very similar to the bond Anika shampoo. After using a drug store shampoo and my hair falling off it has helped a lot with that!

A must have for frizzy hair

Got the sample size as a few gift and can't believe how great it works. I've only used it a couple of times, but I can actually see the ending result. Whatever the scent is, I'm in love. I can't wait to buy the full size product.
