Not as I expected

I redeemed my fragrance certificate for this, but it doesn't have that wow smell like I would've liked. This is good for layering. The scent dies down pretty quickly, I always find that layering helps somewhat.

Wanted to love it...

At first I really enjoyed the smell but after wearing it over a weekend I found I was having to constantly respray myself cause I couldnt smell anything on me. This I found was really odd for Valentino because they are always very long lasting on me with a great scent trail. Will be bringing back as I am so disappointed. The plum and osmanthus is beautiful but I get more of a powdery dry down and no vanilla. Ive loved all the Valentino flankers but this is a no for me, sadly.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Very strong floral scent with musky undertone. Not my typical go to scent. Love the bottle and presentation of the perfume. Large bottle. For someone who enjoys this scent it would we good.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the product but as I got this for free, the scent isn’t really what I wanted. That’s just a personal preference.

Expensive, but cool

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I can definitely get the initial notes of the scent, although the other parts are not as prominent. Also, I felt that the scent was super strong when sprayed on in the beginning and didn’t linger/last long an hour or two later. Pretty easy to use as you pull the cap off and press to spray. I thought the overall packaging was great and unique, really a fun piece to have on a perfume stand or wall. The price is pretty hefty, but this is also a name brand and it’s lasted me quite a bit.

What a perfume wow

I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I expected more vanilla from this. It wasn’t bad just not what I was expecting. I think this would’ve great for someone who likes more mature perfumes

Cough syrup

Smells like cough syrup and the dry down isn’t much better

Valentino Born in Roma (Purple) is a really elegant, sweet-floral fragrance that feels both modern and a little luxurious. It opens kind of fruity and bright, then settles into a warm vanilla-amber base that makes it feel soft but still bold. It’s not too heavy, but it lasts well and gives that “put together” vibe without trying too hard.

This perfume is like no other, it smells amazing and stays in your clothes! this perfume is perfect for that night out, or a dinner with your friends. the price is so good since it literally would last you, 10/10000 buy it

Fruity scent

I didn’t really notice the vanilla which was a bit disappointing. While it’s not my favorite of the Valentino perfumes, it’s a lighter scent to mix things up. This perfume lasts throughout the day which is great. I also love the packaging. It looks nice and is easy to hold and dispense the perfume.
