Wet pencil shavings. That’s it. It is calming though in a way and natural smelling so there’s that! I’ll have to try that layering combo someone mentioned of Book and Nest Indigo!

Perfect smell disappointing packaging

My husband and I bought perfumes for each other back during the spring sale to be our wedding gifts for each other at our wedding 2 weeks ago. This was the one I got for him and it smells so good I can’t even describe it’s exactly how I wanted my HUSBAND to smell! Especially on our fall book themed wedding day! I only have one complaint about the packaging, especially since we took pictures of the bottles for our lay flats and will continue to display the bottles forever as our wedding perfumes. The bottle cap is sticky. Like very sticky. Because it’s white not only is it unpleasant to touch but things stick to it especially a lot of black fuzzes which just makes it look very dirty very quickly. It was just removed from its packaging 2 weeks ago, used on our wedding day, and put back in its box while we were on our honeymoon yet when I took it out when we got back yesterday it already looks too dirty to display. Still smells amazing but makes me sad.

Fresh and woody, perfect for warm weather

Oh my god, this smells SO GOOD. The main note is definitely sandalwood but there is a distinct freshness to this fragrance that makes it warm weather-appropriate. I get an aquatic, cucumber-like note that lightens up the woods. This is a safe buy even if you get dill pickle vibes from some other sandalwood fragrances, since this is light. Absolutely love this as a refreshing summer fragrance.

Fall staple

This scent is so beautiful and long lasting. I’ve been waiting months to wear this as the woody scents are a little strong, but I love this for cozy fall days curled up with a book. Only thing is the label does peel a bit, but the cedar and musk combination is great, and the tea note brightens it. Definitely more on the unisex side, but a definite must for the dark academia girlies

My new signature scent!

After getting the personal exploration kit, I could not stop reaching for Book. I wore it just about every day until the sample ran out! I missed it so much that I decided to buy a full bottle, and I’m so happy I did! This is a comforting, woody scent with a beautiful tea note and a creamy, sandalwood base. Highly recommend giving this a try!
