Not for my hair

The cream was hydrating and moisturising but it didn't maintain my curls as long as I feel it should have. It felt quite thin on my hair.

Redken Balm

Small but mighty. This balm smells like salon care. It will last ages as you only need a small amount even with my long hair. Designed to care for older ends and splits. My hair feels cared for and refreshed. Add a small amount pea size is recommend mid length to ends on damp hair. No greasy feel or mess. A really nice product.

When I applied the balm to my hair instantly noticed a difference to my hair less frizz which I really struggle with on my straight hair. My hair also felt softer and hydrated. I applied a small amount of the product to my hair wet and again once I had dried it. It has a lightweight feel and doesn’t make my hair look greasy. Absolutely love the smell of this product a fruity scent and has heat protect up to 230°c.

Good product

I really enjoyed used this product and my hair loved it so much.As I do bleach my hair every two Months and style my hair 4 times a week it really help me with my split ends and leave it so soft and easy to style .I must say you have to add just a bit of the product if is too much your hair feels greasy .

Overall I would say I enjoyed trying this product. I did feel it made my hair slightly softer and my split ends less damaged but for the price and brand I'd heard amazing things of I expected more. The positives are the product smelt nice, didn't make my hair feel greasy and was very easy to apply.

Promising first impressions

The texture is what you’d expect from a balm. I’ve tried it both on damp and dry hair and it’s worked well either way. Sometimes such products could make hair look greasy and weighed down when applied to dry hair, but this absorbs nicely without any residue. It smells really nice too! I don’t currently have many visible split ends as I’ve recently had a trim. The main areas I wanted to try this on were my front sides, where I have a lot of shorter, broken hair that tend to look dry, frizzy, and unmanageable. After using this balm, I noticed a difference. It doesn’t completely fix the issue, but it definitely helps smooth down some of the frizz and makes it look a bit healthier. So I’d say it works well as a quick temporary solution to make hair look less damaged. But I’m also interested to see how it performs with longer-term use and whether it actually helps strengthen my hair and reduce split ends between trims.

Ok I guess

I can't say I was overly impressed by the results. It's fine, maybe it targeted my split ends and I have fewer now but frankly can't tell if that's the case. I can say that my hair feels dryer after applying it, which isn't the intended goal. Easy to apply though and no greasy kind of feel on my ends, but after testing with 4 applications, I can say this is not a product for my hair. I suspect that although it says for all hair types, it doesn't quite do that. My hair is quite fine, not frizzy but somewhat damaged from bleaching, and with lots of split ends. I ended up using my scissors to make it look more presentable and remove the dry, brittle-like ends after application.

Great product

I am impressed with this product. I always struggled with a dry and split ends and this product in a few seconds transformed my hair to a shiny and healthy. You only need a pea size of this product so this pot will last you a long time. Product has a nice texture that makes your hair soft but not greasy.

Great with time

I really enjoyed using this product- the smell was subtle but good. It’s smelt fresh and clean. The pea size suggestion is more than plenty and I found the product was not greasy and applied easily, this product goes along way. The first use I found I did notice a small difference, my hair looked noticeably smoother, although I’d be more impressed with trying this product over a longer period of time.

Overpriced

I gave 4 stars as I think this is overpriced and the same results can be achieved with other products. Don't get me wrong I was happy with the results but not the price I have seen it selling for. I had to use more than the advised pea sized amount. It comes in a handy sized container to fit in your bag which is good as I found even after using hair straighteners I had to reapply during the day but I was out for the day and wanted my hair looking tidy. It goes on your hair nice and light no stickiness and no hard ends, absorbing quickly and leaves your hair feeling soft with a nice shine. The fragrance is amazing and lasts for a couple of hours and the balm is good for applying to your ends between washes.
