Lipstick Fever - Eau de Parfum Format Voyage

Wanted to like…the initial spray was pretty but…

The initial spray was raspberry and lipstick scented, the bottom notes were very floral and too strong on my skin. Scent didn’t hang around on me so I mixed it with Clean Reserve’s sparkling sugar to help it.

The opening smells amazing, just like sweet lipstick. The dry down however smells like strong alcohol. I wish the dry down was light and similar to the opening. I honestly can’t wear this without thinking it smells like a taxi driver in Dubai

This one might not be everyone's favorite depending on skin chemistry BUT it is such a nostalgic scent. It's really reminiscent of early 2000's makeup so has that industrial acetone mixed with powder and subtle hints of cherry. Not something I will typically drawn into but it captures the nostalgia at least for me.

I thought I was going to love this perfume based on the notes and reviews. Smelled it and I was overwhelmed, smells like the type of scent that would give me a migraine, not a fan :(

should be called smoochies. because its definitely an inviting scent.

heavenly smell… while it lasts

I absolutely love the smell of this product, it’s one of my personal favourites, however it does not last on the skin and with the amount you have to reapply it, travel size is not worth it in my opinion. Great product though

A Russian roulette of a fragrance

I must admit the first spray smells like industrial strength acetone BUT after a minute or two it settles into an old lipstick smell (which I was personally hoping for). Again, body chemistry might be a factor so keep that in mind.

A hard pass

I bought this blind based on the description of notes and the reviews. I’m a sucker for any “lipstick” scent - I love the powdery, creamy, not-so-sweet notes. Loved Maison Margiella’s Lipstick On. This one is a big time no- the opening is just incredibly harsh, musky and pungent with a sour raspberry note. I love berries when done right (like in Burberry Her), but this reminded me of a cheap perfume from the 90s. You get a very faint “lipstick” smell on the dry down but it competes with the musky stench and that defeats the purpose of the playful and mysterious lipstick notes. I returned it.

AWFUL

I had great hopes for this fragrance, but this is AWFUL. The initial spray smelled like straight up rubbing alcohol. I let it dry for an hour and it stilled smelled like rubbing alcohol, with a whisper of powder MAYBE. How this actually made it to production is beyond me.

Smells great does not personally last one me. Glad I purchased the travel spray.

Puderig-zartfruchtiger Kosmetikduft

Typischer leicht kirschig-fruchtiger Lippenstiftduft, sehr puderig, üppig, erinnert auch bisschen an Theaterschminke o.ä. Sehr klassisch. Einziger Haken: Die Kopfnote wirkt leider erst einmal etwas chemisch-alkoholisch, aber das verfliegt zum Glück schnell (ohne wäre es aber natürlich noch besser - grad bei dem Preis wäre das zu erwarten).
