Works effectively yet is gentle on skin

This product was sent to me, complimentary from The Ordinary. That said, I would gladly pay for this out of my own pocket. I have oily skin that gets clogged easily and it shows up as tiny bumps on my skin. Salicylic acid works great to reduce these bumps but it is hard to find one that I can use on a frequent basis without irritating my skin too much. This particular product is not only effective, but it is also very gentle on my skin. I use it twice a day, and it has kept my skin clear without any issues on skin sensitivity. It shares similar texture as a dry oil but there is zero greasiness. It not only absorbs really quickly into the skin, but leaves it soft too. I highly recommend this if you share a similar skin type as mine.

Super soft skin

I got this due to my blemish prone skin. This bottle is quite affordable so it’s so it’s an easy purchase. I haven’t seen any changes yet other than softer skin to the touch. It’s only been a week of consistent use. The texture of the oil is that of a very fine oil, more runny than thick oil. It really leaves your skin super soft immediately. gifted by theordinary

I love it! It really helps clear my pores and control excess oil without drying out my skin. I’ve noticed fewer blackheads and smoother texture since using it. It feels slightly oily at first, but it absorbs well. I would definitely repurchase!

Great for acne prone skin!

I use this diluted version of salicylic acid as the full strength one is too strong for my eczema prone skin. It clears all my closed comodones and keeps my acne at bay. But please do NOT use this during the summer without a strong spf, it did make my skin peel and gave me a chemical burn but i was really uneducated about facial acids then.
