Oh this is so sensual it’s alluring to my senses! I smelt this on a random girl out and about and I could you not, I had to stop her mid-walk to ask what she was wearing and she told me it was Prada amber ! I immediately had to get a sample and after 2 weeks of debating- I’m going to buy a full size! It smells like Prada candy but more serious with pink pepper and oranges with citrus being a prominent notes.

I’ve worn Prada Amber for years, and the reformulation definitely feels different. The richness and depth that made the original so special aren’t quite there anymore. The sillage and projection have dropped significantly, and the amber isn’t as resinous or complex. It feels a bit more synthetic now. It’s still a pleasant, clean amber scent. It’s subtle and easy to wear day-to-day. 7/10 — not bad, but not the same as the original.

Magic

If you like Oriental, mysterious, a little spicy with great depth and holding power - this is a wonderful choice. A small amount will carry all-day and the fragrance doesn't mutate over time, so you don't get that 'souring' of only base notes by the end of the day. (Unlike Vera Wang Women) It is subtle - not garrulous like some "Oriental" type perfumes (think Chloe). It isn't a an old lady perfume either - but I don't think most teenagers would go for it. Amber is delicious, complex, mysterious. Some of the other perfumes I wear are Coco, Pure, White Zen, Bulgari The Blanc. While Prada Amber doesn't smell like any of those, you get some of the notes in common, a tonality - but I place Amber at the heavier end of the spectrum.
