Gourmand lovers might like, but not me

I like the warm, caramelly ambery tonka vanilla undercurrent of this fragrance. However, what doesn't work for me are the fake nut notes. It also requires about 3 sprays per wrist to be more than a skin scent for me. However, my teen does like it and says it reminds her of cinnamon rolls. I certainly don't get cinnamon from it, but I could convince myself that it smells like the vanilla cream cheese frosting our local bakery puts on its cinnamon rolls. The fake nut notes are less prominent in the dry down. So, I liked it more toward the end. Since I'm not a sweet gourmand lover, it's not really for me, but others are going to love it.

A classic, sweet vanilla

This is a very classic sweet vanilla fragrance, very warm, smooth, and definitely crowd-pleasing. If you love gourmand-style vanillas, this will probably be right up your alley. Vanilla-heavy fragrances aren’t usually my personal preference, but I do think it's nicely blended and very easy to wear. I will say that I prefer the Extrait version of Vanilla Haze, which feels richer and more interesting on my skin.

I recommend Vanilla Haze to anyone looking for a great vanilla. It’s perfectly sweet but not overly so with amber and musk in the base. I love the touch of almond, too. Projects well and lasts a long time.

okay... I get the hype

This is such a good cozy vanilla. It starts soft and sweet, then settles into this clean, warm musk that just melts into your skin. The kind of scent that feels comforting but still put together, like your favorite sweater but elevated. And it lasts. I kept catching little whiffs of it on my clothes and wrists all day, which honestly made me love it even more. Yeah… this one deserves the attention it gets.

Year Round Vanilla

This is a cozy sweet vanilla that wraps you up and anyone thats close enough to smell it. Its got a light spice to it and almost a coconut type creaminess that stays all the way. If you love BL and the like, you'll enjoy this. Long lasting and smooth.

Simple burnt sugar vanilla

Pretty underwhelming. Yummy and sweet, but I don’t get very much nuttiness or anything toasted. I definitely get the burnt sugar from the creme brulee, but other than that it’s just mostly vanilla. Sweeter than expected, I think if the nuttiness and musk actually came through for me it’d balance this out a lot, but it is a typical sweet vanilla.

This is a beautiful smelling vanilla fragrance. It is a true vanilla, not too sweet and not too spicy. I think this is blind-buy safe if you like vanilla as this is going to appeal to a wide range of people.

This smells like a lighter, foggier version of Escapade Gourmand. That's not negative, I prefer lighter, fluffier scents, however I can't smell this on me past the initial hour. Could be a me problem, so 2 stars knocked off for perceived lack of longevity.

Root beer float with vanilla ice cream.

This was actually my least favorite from a discovery set. It’s very sweet but does stop short of being cloying. It’s a bit sharp and smells a bit like a root beer float. I also kept checking to see if there was anise in this but don’t see that as a note. If that sounds like something you’d love, then you need to buy or at least sample this.

One of The Top Vanillas I Own

This was the first Fugazzi fragrance I ever tried and I’ve never looked back!! Vanilla Haze is in one word: delicious. The musk and amber notes make it different than regular vanilla perfumes. It is sweet but also a little spicy!!

I received a discovery set that included Vanilla Haze in exchange for sharing my opinion. It is such a beautiful take on vanilla. The scent feels warm, creamy, and slightly sweet without being overpowering. It has a cozy quality that makes it very easy to wear and perfect for everyday use. It is the kind of vanilla that feels soft and inviting and it lasts nicely throughout the day.
