[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This Loveshine plumping lip oil gloss from YSL is mind-blowing for a few reasons. First off, just look at my before and after pics! After a couple of minutes, my lips are noticeably plumped and looking fabulous. The color is beautiful on its own, but I like to line and fill in my lips with a pop of color and so far, this product works with all of the lip products I have tried it with. The shimmer is the most impressive part because while it looks very glittery in the tube, it looks very natural when it's on, adding a lovely shine in addition to the gloss. I'm also very happy with the way it feels. The tingle isn't irritating at all and the product feels surprisingly light for how super shiny it is. I feel like my lips are hydrated while wearing and even after it wears off which is something I don't find often in lip plumpers. This stunning product comes in the signature YSL monogrammed tube, so between that and the way it looks on, it definitely catches people's attention and I'm so here for it!

Ok!!! I must say I heavily enjoy this gloss! First off the flavor you taste is OUTSTANDING!! It’s very kissable!!! It has a slight plumping effect but not much. There isn’t a tingle with the plumping which is a plus!! The sparkle and shine is just 1000 watt! The only con is the gloss does these a white residue after a few hours.

It smells expired and made my lips feel like they were burning/bright red along the edges.

The smell…

I was really excited to try this but the smell is really off-putting. It reminds me of chemicals or fertilizer or something. It’s sharp and made me wonder if the product was expired. Please change the scent and maybe I will try it again.

Okay it’s very plumping but it smells like the backseat of a smoking grandma’s 1988 Buick with notes of mango body spray. also it made my lips so red from the swelling that the cool lavender color disappeared, although I guess that would be fine with a different color

I wanted to like it more

I just couldn’t stand the smell and ‘taste’ of it, idk what it was trying to be but both just did not make for a pleasant experience. The plumping part of the formula was uncomfortable and took some time for the tingling to dissipate. I did like the shimmer and the shade was subtle and buildable but it apply fairly thickly but overall not sticky.

Love this product so much!! You can definitely feel the plumping element which I love, but if you don’t like the tingle you won’t like this. There’s subtle glitter which you can’t really see on the lips, but it gives a gorgeous shine. Feels really comfortable on and smells good too
