Plumping and Shimmery Lip Oil Gloss

This lip oil gloss is very shiny and shimmery on the lips. The plumping effect works well and there is a slight burn after first application. The scent is pleasant, and the glimmer particles are not super gritty. The product is thick but also smooth like a lip oil and not sticky. It layers well over just a lip liner or over any lipstick. I love the soft champaign color in the bottle although it translates to a clear gloss with lots of silver micro glitters. It’s a lovely product with a lux look and feel to it. Highly recommend!

Shimmer & Shine- new essential

I’ve recently been using the YSL Loveshine Plumping lip oil gloss in shade 10 and I am sooo impressed so far. Wear time: For a glossy oil, the longevity is surprisingly solid. The shiny finish lasts a few hours, and even after the gloss fades, there is still a soft tint left behind so your lips never look bare. The shade 10 gives a beautiful sheer wash of color that enhances your natural lip tone rather than covering it. You can also apply it over your favorite lipstick or lip liner. Packaging: The packaging is beautiful and is exactly what you would expect from YSL- sleek, luxe, and weighty. The tube feels high end and the plush applicator makes application smooth and precise. Stickiness: One of my favorite things about this product is that there is minimal stickiness. Typically with other plumping glosses that I have tried, they have been rather sticky. This product is infused with oils and ingredients like hyaluronic acid which makes it feel so nourishing and smooth. Over all this gloss hits everything: hydration, shine, comfort, and gives a polished look.

Plumps and shines!

I love this plumping gloss. It goes on shimmery and then you start to feel the tingle of the plumping activating. It stays on for awhile, even when drinking. Beautifully designed bottle as well!

Pretty finish… bad scent

I love how this color is natural on me, but still has a glossy/shimmery finish! The packaging is really cute, and I like how large the applicator is. I have very sensitive skin, so I was pleasantly surprised that the plumping sensation wasn’t irritating or painful! I will say that while I noticed a slight plumping effect, it isn’t super noticeable. The consistency is pretty thin and isn’t sticky on, which is nice. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly hydrating, but I used a lip balm underneath and that helped! My only issue is the scent… I have one of their lip oil sticks which has this really nice peachy scent. I could pick up on that same peach smell in this, BUT whatever they changed to make this formula plumping is… bad. I really can’t describe the scent, but it’s unpleasant. Beyond that, I love how it looks on.

Perfect gloss for you bag and everyday use. Has the perfect amount of shimmer and gives you that nice lip pumping feeling. Doesn’t have any color so can reapply during the day

I really like this lipgloss! It had a bit of a bite to it, which made my lips feel like they were getting plumped up! It is lightweight and a light, shimmery color. Perfect for date night. It has a yummy, fruity scent/taste to it.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a great corral-warm toned color that shines on my lips! The applicator is very soft and feels cushioned, which really felt nice on my lips. The plumping effect, however, is very mild. I did not really notice any difference on my lips, though there was a brief period of tingling sensation. However, as a gloss, it is nice! There was not any stringiness when i talked, and a tiny bit of tackiness was present, though i applied a light layer. This smells like watermelon, which was kind of surprising, though--not in a bad way!

Just the right amount of shimmer

You can’t help but notice how elegantly designed the tube is. You can see the little shimmers behind the YSL logo that surrounds it. This plumping lip oil smells so good and it’s not sticky. It leaves your lips feeling moisturized and shiny and it lasts for hours. The applicator gives you just the right amount to put on your lips. I like this lip oil gloss but it is pretty expensive.
