Behentrimonium Chloride 2% - Conditioner

Love it

For those of us who need fragrance free products, this is fantastic. I’m allergic to most conditioning agents (contact dermatitis), and there are only two that I can use, Centrimonium Chloride and Behentrimonium Chloride. I also have other ingredient sensitivities and personal care products are really challenging for me with hair care being one of the worst. This is very thick, and the first time I used it, I found it a bit drying as well as heavy/sticky, and it made my hair a little dark. I found that if I water it down, anywhere from 50 – 75%, it helps it disperse more easily throughout my hair, as well as makes it easier to rinse out. If you’re looking for a conditioner without silicones, polymers, or proteins, and you are super sensitive, this is definitely one to try. I find it extremely gentle and it makes my hair feel great…soft, silky, smooth, and very pretty. I have 2 back ups of this at all times because I’m terrified that it might be discontinued. Yes, the container is not ideal, but I find if I store it upside down, I can get most of the product out of the container. I wish they sold it in a larger size.

Safe so far for my seborrheic dermatitis

I bought this from a brick and mortar reseller and wanted to give the original brand my review. I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis (a fungal condition). The treatment shampoos are so drying, but conditioners with their oils and silicones and all manner of sticky, greasy ingredients can exacerbate the problem. This I have found quite safe for me. It gives enough slip to detangle my thick hair in the shower. Please keep making this. I agree with others a rounded bottle may be easier to avoid wasted product. For now I just shake in some water to help squeeze every last bit of conditioner out.

Best Conditioner!

This is the best conditioner I have ever used! It makes my hair soft without feeling heavy or looking oily. I have sensitive skin issues so it was difficult to find any conditioner I could use. I did not expect to find one that worked with my sensitive skin and worked so well! Highly recommend!

Allergy friendly and wallet friendly

this is the only affordable fragrance free conditioner that actually works for me and doesn't break me out...please dont get rid of it or i'm screwed lolllll

Great moisture with no sensitivity

I’ve recently made the transition to fragrance free beauty products. Ive had an extremely itchy scalp my entire life and this has made it go away 95% Ive been using this product for about 3 years. I usually let this sit in my hair for 5 min or more before rinsing and I have no split ends even though I only get a haircut once or twice a year Only 4 stars bc the bottle is so small which leads to more plastic. Ordinary please make a larger bottle or cardboard refill

I have coarse, curly, mature, thinning hair under a scalp and body that can not longer tolerate fragrances. I have tried most of the Fragrance free hair options on the market as my hair routine before developing a fragrance allergy had to involve cycling the types of products I used in order to maintain my hair hydration, moisture and protein that it craves, dandruff treatments for scalp health and lighter silicone free options to keep my curls in check all while trying to combat breakage and thinning, mature hair. This shampoo and conditioner has been prefect for my curls. I don't use it every wash day as I cycle in dandruff shampoos and more moisturizing conditioners (I also add in some protein here and there) a few times a month to maintain a good balance I do however use them weekly. The conditioner manages to detangle my snarly mess of knee length hair without weighting it down or making it feel gummy, Before using this I didn't realize that was possible without lots of proteins or oils in a product. My hair drinks moisture and I have also had a hard time finding a balance of a conditioner that was moisturizing enough without becoming too moisture heavy. Had I used this conditioner before I developed the fragrance allergy I would have continued to do so as it achieves that balance for me. It leaves my hair soft. I am very happy with this product and it's shampoo counterpart as well. They have become a staples in my haircare routine.

Great product

I bought this conditioner plus shampoo 1 month ago and I will tell you my opinion : - before to buy this , with my shampoo from pharmacy I need to wash my hair every 2-3 days because I have grown old and texture of my hair change.With this shampoo and conditioner I can stay without any problem 5-6 days. - what I see is that my hair is more soft and has more volume . - and my hair doesn’t fall out like before. - my husband who has oily hair is very happy with this shampoo. In conclusion I am impressed and happy that I start to use this products from Ordinary. I have been a customer of this brand for long time. Good luck in future for all your team.

Un miracle sur mes cheveux

Cela fait des années que je cherche un apres-shampoing qui n’alourdit pas mes cheveux, se rince facilement, démêle mes cheveux, les fait briller et respecte mes ondulations. Par hasard, j’ai essayé celui ci, et contre toute attente c’etait le bon ! Je ne pourrais plus jamais m’en passer.

Great Conditioner, Difficult To Dispense

This conditioner makes my hair soft and sleek without weighing it down. However the shape and thickness of the bottle make it very difficult to dispense.

Amazing conditioner but terrible bottle

I absolutely love this product, it's the best conditioner I've ever used. But the bottle design is really bad. I have to unscrew it every time I use it, and getting the last bit out cleanly is impossible.
