Great product lasts very long the smell is very nutral. I’d call it a detox shampoo really as it doesn’t have that traditional creamy foamy effect that regular shampoo has.

No good

Very watered down product. Not worth the money. You’d be luck to get 5 washes out of the whole bottle. Very drying, the are also product that are much much better.

Soft silky hair from just a shampoo? Yess!!!

I bought this in August and just ran out a month ago. Please restock!! This shampoo makes my hair unbelievably soft and shiny. It has made my scalp healthy too. A little bit goes a really long way. I lost massive clumps of hair last November and have been working hard to grow my hair back. This was the final step as my hair has shed less and less as i use it. Thank you!!

Review of The Ordinary Shampoo and Conditioner

I’m very pleased with the results after using The Ordinary shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels soft, well-nourished, and looks noticeably healthier after just a few uses. It’s easy to brush, has a natural shine, and doesn’t feel heavy. I also appreciate the minimalist formula without unnecessary chemicals. My only suggestion would be to increase the bottle size, as the products are excellent but finish rather quickly. Overall, one of the best hair care duos I’ve tried — I will definitely repurchase.

I wash my hair everyday!

I have oily scalp and so I have to was my hair every single day. Now, before people say I should "train" my hair, I have. For 6 months, I only washed my hair every other day. Not only did my scalp produce more oil, I also broke out with acne. I have never had acne problems as a teenager and having acne as an adult is quite alarming. I finally stopped "training" my hair and decided to wash it daily. Then I disovered the ordinary Sulphate 4% Cleanser for Body and Hair. I have been using this along with the conditioner every day for 3 years, since it first launched. My hair has never been so healthy, I also have less hair fall out. I'd be really upset if they decide to discontinue these products because I wouldn't know what to do without them! I wish there's a travel sized bottle too!

Great results

I have been using this shampoo for a couple of months now and I am very happy with the results. It does not lather much like regular shampoo, and that may be misleading as we usually associate a thick lather with cleansing power. But it does cleanse my hair without drying it and it keeps clean for a couple of days, even in hot humid South Florida weather, so I am able to wash my hair every other day in general.

Why sulfate?!

Seriously Diceim why SLS? This is not a ‘gentle’ shampoo it’s an oil stripper.

Not good for me.

It was too drying for my hair. Washed it in same way as always but was so tangled that I couldn't run my fingers throught it.

Bigger foam, bigger bottles, please!

This shampoo is great! The only feedback I have is that it def needs to foam up a little more so it can actually get through the hair into the scalp (I have fine hair but dense), and you definitely need to sell larger bottles. The lack of foaming means I have to use quite a bit per shampoo session and with the tiny bottles?? Yah, I run out very fast.

Great for sensitive scalp

I’ve recently made the transition to fragrance free beauty products. Ive had an extremely itchy scalp my entire life and this has made it go away 95% Only 4 stars bc the bottle is so small which leads to more plastic. Ordinary please make a larger bottle or cardboard refill

Haircare staple

I have coarse, curly, mature, thinning hair under a scalp and body that can not longer tolerate fragrances. I have tried most of the Fragrance free hair options on the market as my hair routine before developing a fragrance allergy had to involve cycling the types of products I used in order to maintain my hair hydration, moisture and protein that it craves, dandruff treatments for scalp health and lighter silicone free options to keep my curls in check all while trying to combat breakage and thinning, mature hair. This shampoo and conditioner has been prefect for my curls. I don't use it every wash day as I cycle in dandruff shampoos and more moisturizing conditioners a few times a month to maintain a good balance these are wonderful for my hair I do however use them weekly. The shampoo cleans my scalp well without drying it out (as i have found most other fragrance free shampoos tend to do to my hair). When I am wanting more clarifying i am able to achieve it by washing with it twice. I am very happy with this product and it's conditioner counterpart as well. They have become a staples in my haircare routine.
