Great for acne prone skin

Works quickly. Great for acne, not bad for hyperpigmentation. Note: it is very drying (this is as an oily skinned person), but nothing a good moisturizer can't fix.

Contains Hydroxyethyl Acrylate & Polysilicone-11

What a shame this product contains Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer and Polysilicone-11. I won't be buying it again for this reason. As liquid nanoplastics, they are even worse than the microplastics we all know and hate. They pose dangerous risks to the environment and to human health. Please seriously consider removing Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer and Polysilicone-11 from this product.

Extremely Positive Results!

Like so many people, I am not one to write a review but I wanted to share with you how my skin has completely cleared from acne/excessive oil since starting using The Ordinary. I am 39 and have struggled with acne all my life, I have always had daily spots, tried multiple antibiotics, roaccutane, contraceptive pills and various teen to adult skin care ranges from high st to expensive brands and under the care of skin specialists and never found a routine that has consistently worked. Having done lots of research and read countless reviews on The Ordinary I decided to give them a try. During the first 4 weeks I saw a mild purge and a noticeable improvement, I am now 2 months in and I can say my acne is gone. I thought I would share my routine to anyone like me who has suffered for years and endlessly searching for a cure. Morning Routine 1. The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming cleanser (double cleanse - removes makeup) 2. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% with Zinc 1% (pea size amount) 3. Eucerin Factor 50 Oil Control Sunscreen (use as moisturiser) Evening Routine 1. The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming cleanser 2. The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% z with Zinc 1% (pea size amount) 3. The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% (pea size amount) 4. The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors with Beta Glucan In the first 4-6 weeks I used The Ordinary Charcoal Face Mask once a week in an evening which helped clear my skin but no longer need to use this now. You can’t use the Azelaic Acid the same evening you use this, all other products listed above can be used the same and back to normal the next night. I hope you find this useful and that you have the same experience.

Rosacea Gamechanger

I have been using Azelaic Acid Supension for over 2 years and I have seen a huge difference in my rosacea. It’s not even noticeable now. I use the product nightly and consistency definitely plays a roll here. It has also improved the texture and smoothness of my skin. I 100% recommend!!

some tingliness after first use

so i have combo, sensitive, and super duper acne prone skin. i felt a tingly sensation when i first applied it in my like the top part of my infraorbital bone, my cupids bow, and parts of my cheek. i had also added like a soothing cream ( i use dr althea 345 ) so yeah. not sure about results but its good to know if you have the same skin type as me. also the product has so much air in it? i get its 30ml but come on it’s ridiculous. also btw when i realised that the tinglyness isnt normal i like washed it off with some lukewarm water and added a generous amount again of that same cream since it had been washed off n to like help it recover. if this happens to you and you follow what i did then wait like 2-3 days til you start again xx

Big difference in one week.

I have been using this for a week in the day time. It has made a significant difference in just one week. Acne scars are less red and have faded.

Favourite azelaic acid!

Have tried various azelaic acids of similar strength but this one works best for me in terms of fading acne scars.

Great for rosacea

I have Papulopustular rosacea and this product works wonders for my skin. I pair it with ivermectin nightly. Completely got rid of all red bumps and pustuals. I do wait a few minutes to apply after the ivermectin to let it absorb. If you use a moisturizer after, I would also let it set before adding anything else. It leave skin so silky feeling. My daughter now uses it as well for her hormonal acne.

Helps manage my acne!

I've been using this for about 2 years now and while I still get a pimple here and there I no longer get any big break outs. I forgot to order the azelaic acid last time I ran out and for the 2 weeks I procrastinated getting it I had massive breakouts on my forehead that went away when I restarted my use. This definitely helps me control my acne!

Gifted by the ordinary. I really enjoyed this azelaic acid exfoliator from the ordinary. Over time it helped smooth and even out my skin. It was gentle to use and did not cause any irritation. Highly recommended.
