Fresh and clean

This fragrance has a fresh and clean smell that compliments and does not over power. The scent is dispensed easily from the bottle and lasts the entire day.

Nice scent

This has came by far, my most favorite perfume. I really love the sand. It’s pretty fruity and very fresh. I think it can be a perfect scent for woman as well.

Smells Like Sadness

I'd smelled this (well, the original) on a coworker and had to have it. When I got it home, I was incredibly sad to find that what I smelled on him and the tester at the store was not what was in the bottle. Researching the issues, I found thatd I'd unfortunately bought the 2025 reformulation, not the 2021 original. I was hoping for that fresh, friendly, head turning fragrance I'd smelled, but what I got was something reminiscent of cheap hairspray. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This scent is smooth, deep, and addictive. It has the clean DNA of the Y line, but darker and more mature. Think apple, sage, and a warm woodsy drydown with amazing staying power. I wear it mostly at night, but it’s versatile enough for daytime too. It smells expensive without trying too hard.

Has great last fragrance and a lot of people give a lot of compliments. Bottle comes with cap so you can throw it in the gym bag or luggage when traveling.

A Daily Driver Perfume

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The 2025 version of this cologne is very distinct from previous versions but I love it - it leans very heavily towards spicy & woody notes instead of aquatic. It is bold and has excellent lasting power, you’ll still smell it when you’re getting ready for bed. Definitely recommend!

Le sigh. WhySL?

High hopes had fallen hard. As a long time lover and wearer of the original Le Parfum, there was a bit of hesitation to purchase the 2025 reformulation. In fairness, I called a local shop to ask if they still had the black bottles with black label... to which they replied 'yes, that's what's in the case as a tester, so that's what should be available.' I rushed to purchase what I thought was the last and later found my product to be the new, midnight blue bottle with silver. Upon initial spray, it was recognizable. Good, even, but not what I would expect a 'bold reformulation' of Le Parfum to be. Simply put, it's just another version of the Eau De Parfum with a bit of holiday green mixed in. An easy cash-grab and a near identical twin to its flaking brothers EDT & EDP. No disrespect to the perfumer who'd done what they were asked, but what I loved so deeply about the mature, flagship model has been stripped away and replaced by another product targeted to a youthful male generation. The 2021 creation seemed to be intended for grown adults and I'm feeling like we're no longer the target market for YSL. I returned my bottle within 24 hours and began to search the grey market for 2021 bottle with no success. It's possible I may have just a few spritz's left of my last bottle and will hold on as long as I can until I can either find a full size out there somewhere or if YSL calls this what it is: "Eau De Parfum Reimagined", and re-releases the 2021 formula with zero changes to ingredients or process.
