The Minimalist - Perfektionierender Teint-Stick

Love it!

I really like this complexion stick. I wanted something that looked natural, but evened my skin tone out without looking too mask like and this met my expectations.

This is the perfect concelear if you have oily skin or if you want to spot conceal. It’s usually hard to find my shade since I’m an olive tone but this one matched perfectly.

This product is creamy and amazing and very easy to use. However, it created this dermatitis on my eyelids and around the corners of both of my eyes that was very itchy and tender. I only realize it was from the stick when I saw many other users reported similar and identical issues from this product. I suspect it’s from the ingredient. : Octyldodecanol (fatty alcohol). I’m going to return both sticks even though it makes me so sad!

Good product, terrible packaging

I really like this product, but I would not buy it again simply because of the packaging. I do not understand how can a product just FLY OUT of its tube just by opening it up. The cap is very tight and considering you have to open it slowly so stuff won’t FLY OUT, you’ll bump the cap on the product itself and make a huge mess. Terrible. Product is good though, I’d recommend moisturizing first, otherwise it could look kinda dry. Such a bummer, if it weren’t for the package, I’d re-buy it for sure.

Sadly this is not the perfect concealer like I’d hoped! The neutral shade is also far too yellow for my skin tone, which is glaringly obvious when I use it just as a concealer. I’ll try using it as a full-face product and see if that helps. It also was surprisingly extremely drying on my skin. Packaging is beautiful and I like the idea of a stick product but did not work for me.

The best product in my entire collection. I recommend it to everyone who compliments my skin! Very easy to work with and wearable.

I love that it instantly hides imperfections, and is easy to apply. I would definitely love to try more MERIT products.

My Most Repurchased Complexion Product

One of my holy grail complexion products. The Merit Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick blends seamlessly into the skin and gives the most natural, skin-like finish. It’s technically a concealer, but it’s buildable enough to even out your complexion without ever looking heavy or cakey. I’ve gone through three of these already, which says a lot. I currently use Linen in tandem with The Uniform shade 24 for my winter color — it brightens where I need it while still looking incredibly natural. What really makes this product stand out is that it’s literally skincare-infused, so it feels comfortable and breathable on the skin all day. I use mostly Merit products in my daily routine, and this is easily one of the staples I keep repurchasing. Effortless, natural, and consistently beautiful on the skin. ✨

Pills sometimes & really shows skin texture/bumps

The reason I got this is that it was finally a perfect shade match for me, which I couldn't find in several other brands of concealer like Rare Beauty that all didn't have my undertone. This is not bad for a basic concealer. However, it does sometimes pill (tiny rolls/flakes of it rub off while applying) and can look cakey. It gives me low to medium coverage, and as someone with bad dark circles, I need more than that. When I try to build it by applying multiple layers, it usually looks cakey or pills. When I apply this over bumps/pimples/texture in my skin, it really amplifies all my skin texture instead of blending it in. I feel like it makes pimples look more dry and noticeable, and doesn't cover them up much. Also, the stick often falls out of the tube. At this price, I would not repurchase this item and would go with a drugstore concealer instead.

As good as promised. Blends in smoothly, only need it in places so perfect for everyday. Replaced color corrector and concealer

Does exactly what it says

I was hesitant at first because I have normal-dry skin but this melts in so beautifully! I’m also always surprised at how much I have left, a little goes a long way, highly recommend!
