This mario lip serum BURNS!!! It's nasty & taste horrible. It burned my lips upon application, I felt a Burn immediately!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Moisturizing

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is a nice balm with a light sheen. Being a woman of color unfortunately not many shades actually show up on the lips, which I would have liked. But it does keep the lips hydrated and I like that it's not a sticky formula

Beautiful MLBB Shade

I got is as a birthday gift this year and immediately bought the full sized Rosewood glow as soon as it came back in stock. The pencil for me is a good shade but it's no better or different than your average lip pencil imo. The serum balm though is my perfect mlbb shade and I knew I had to get it. The downsides are that it's very soft but I literally dab it onto my lips instead of swiping and that seems to help not get too much at once. I like the cooling sensation but it can irritate the lips if used too often. It also doesn't wind back down if you accidentally click too much so be wary of that. For those reasons I deducted a star but even with those issues I still really love the lip serum.

Great product, bad application

I agree with the other reviews - this product is fantastic, but the application is awful. If you carefully dab it around your lips using as little as possible it turns out evenly, but I still see it leaking over the edge of the applicator. I rub the messy leakage on my lips on the next application to clean it up. I'm not a fan of plumping products, but this one just feels like a mint balm and gets a pass from me for that. Please fix the applicator in the future!

Amazing if used correctly

Got this as a B-day sample and love it so far! To the people saying it's goopy, you're probably using too much product. I just pat it across my lips instead of swiping. A little goes a long way! I'm scared of plumping products but this just feels like a minty Chapstick.

My very favorite

This is just the best color and product!! Got the sample for my birthday and went back and bought two. I am extremely picky and not many colors look good on me but this one is magical.

A surprisingly good balm!

I was very impressed with this product! I received it as part of the birthday gift and expected a lipstick style product. I like that it melts onto your lips and I am a BIG fan of the minty feeling. Plumping is not my most important factor so I cannot speak for it. The applicator can get slightly messy since it does melt onto your lips. The color is initially very good but does not last very long so reapplication is necessary

Terrible applicator, but good product.

I like the product, but the applicator is horrible. It’s concave, but the consistency is gloss-like. It’s difficult to apply and when you do, it makes a mess. Make sure to have tissues to wipe it off of your teeth. The formula is much too thin and this should’ve been in a lipgloss bottle with a doe-foot applicator for more control. The plumping is nice and the colour is, too. However, due to the packaging, I would not repurchase.
