Fabulous Mascara

This mascara is amazing from the first swipe! The waterproof formula really does what it promises—it stays put through heat, humidity, and even a good cry without smudging or flaking. It gives my lashes instant volume and drama, and the curved brush grabs every lash without me having to fuss. It lasts all day but still comes off without a battle. Totally worth it. I received this product for free from Influenster for my honest opinion.

Great for photos, less great for real life.

Honestly, for all the hype around this product I expected more. I wanted to love this mascara, I have always enjoyed Lancôme products and how luxurious it feels to use them, but I think this mascara missed the mark. Let me start by saying this mascara looks incredible. One coat is indeed a very dramatic difference. The issue is it claims to be waterproof, and I suppose in a roundabout way it is, but the mascara never fully dries. The entire time I wore it (an 8 hour work day and then a social event after) it was tacky. Sticky like when your lash glue is ready to stick your lashes to. Multiple times through the day I had to use a lash comb to unstick my corner lashes from one another. That seems crazy to me, and I did wonder if it was user error and maybe the layers needed to dry in between coats like nail polish, but no, dear reader, that is not the case.

Actual waterproof mascara with great thickness!

First, this mascara is actually waterproof - you’ll need a real oil based markup remover to get it off. It does last all day without any flaking, and it goes on the thick side. It’s not clump-free - which is not great at its price point, but with a clean mascara wand I was able to clean that up right away.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Waterproof mascara

Lancome Hypnose Drama Waterproof Mascara did not disappoint. My lashes have more volume and length while wearing. Really like how it wears, no raccoon eyes, and it's waterproof.

Dark as my heart

This product looks great, nice and dark and it definitely is waterproof. Minimal flaking and definitely saw some lengthening action as well..

Works as a day-to-day mascara

This mascara is better for length than volume… It has a tendency to clump so I have to pay more attention to separating my lashes. Also, be careful when applying, as I’ve noticed there can be more product on the applicator than I may want. I do appreciate the fact the contour of the applicator wand allows you to shape your lashes in the way that you prefer, and lets me get in the tricky corners of my eyes. It’s also very long lasting and definitely waterproof, (it survived a sweaty night at the club!) but is still able to come off with my favorite oil cleanser. Overall, it’s not my favorite but it definitely gets the job done!

Effective mascara with long lasting performance

This mascara does the job! I normally use Lancôme mascaras, so I jumped at the chance to try a new product from them! Gave me more length than my normal Lancôme mascara and lasted just as long.

A waterproof mascara that doesn't flake or clump!

I love the original mascara and that it's true black. The waterproof mascara is no different and a great mascara for summer or just in general if you prefer waterproof mascara. It made my eyelashes look fuller and a bit longer, and without the clumping or flaking you tend to get from other waterproof ones. Love it!

Great mascaras

Been using this mascara for a while and loving it Pros - Jet Black - volumizes like no one’s business - buildable - long wearing (stays put unless you remove with oil/balm remover) - no flaking - great applicator Cons - only thing is, because it’s a volumizing mascara, it can clump up the lashes a bit. Best to either remove all excess products from the wand before coating and gradually build or have a lash separator handy while applying

Great waterproof mascara!

Really enjoy this mascara! The wand is this interesting kind of strange spiral shape, the bristles are just bristles they are not that "sticky" silicone texture that some mascaras have. Right off the bat, I will say this a very wet, thin, watery formula that I'm personally not the biggest fan of. It can be a little messy; I got it on my eyelids a few times and I'm not a novice when it comes to applying mascara. But this does seem to be less prone to clumps than thicker formulas. It definitely seems more like a lengthening formula. It doesn't give too much volume -there is a little but not tons- but the length is nice and this stuff holds a curl like no other which might be the biggest selling point for me personally. I have the straightest lashes ever so normally I curl them, put on mascara and they fall flat 5 minutes later. This actually holds a curl all day which I think does come from this being a waterproof mascara, which are normally great for that. This stuff also lasts forever, and doesn't smudge at all. And it is truly waterproof, I've tried to remove it with plain water just to see, and it did not happen at all. It is a little difficult to remove completely with the removers that I have tried personally, but I think that speaks to the staying power. Has been incredible for summer events this year!

Definitely waterproof!!!

This mascara is definitely waterproof! It takes effort to get off. It works really well if I take my time and apply it. If I’m in a rush, my lashes will clump but I can easily separate them with the brush before it dries. I really do enjoy it overall 🙌🏾

Dark and dramatic

With just one coat, this mascara gave me dark voluminous lashes. The curved shape of the wand brushes through my lashes easily and helps create a lifted effect. The formula is pigmented and builds well without clumping but I experienced some smudging, especially on a hot day. All in all, it is a solid choice and didn’t cause any irritation.
