Acqua di Giò Homme - Eau de Toilette Nachfüllbar

Very disappointed

Unfortunately, the fragrance isn't the same anymore. Fruity notes are muted, base notes changed and you smell mostly lemon. Just lemon. It lasts about 30 minutes and then it vanishes. The DNA of the original doesn't exist anymore. The lasting power of the pprevious versions never was a beast but this one, (refillable) is almost a body spray and the most important is that it is does NOT smell like acqua di gio. Very frustrating, especially because it is the fragrance I wear most of my adult life and now it officially became a memory. RIP my good friend.

Faulty and Disappointing

I was totally going to buy 5 bottles of this but im glad I read the reviews with the new formulated version not being anything like the original, me and my buddies will no longer purchase for fear its not the same thing we grew to love.

A shadow of its former self

Sadly, this is not acqua di gio. I had high hopes but when opened the box and sprayed the fragrance, i made a disappointing realization. It doesn't smell like ADG anymore, they changed something and the whole note pyramid collapsed, making it smell like a watered down knock off (the lasting power and projection are really non existent) Probably they won't brink back the original formula and maybe they only are focusing releasing the new flankers such as parfum, eau de parfum, elixir, profondo, profondo eau de parfum, parfum etc. Maybe elixir absolu "Happy Thanksgiving is next" 🤷‍♂️ I own most of the line and ia a huge fan of the brand in general, but nothing is like the original 1996 one. Thank God I still have a bottle of Essenza, (also gone for good of course).

End of an Era

it’s not Acqua di Gio anymore. I’ve been wearing the original for 25 years, but the latest reformulated version is a massive disappointment. They’ve managed to ruin the DNA of a masterpiece. Where is the airy, fresh, and subtle floral breeze that made this perfume legendary? Now, it’s just another generic scent in a bottle. It feels like they are focusing on releasing endless flankers (Parfum, Elixir, etc.) while neglecting the soul of the original. If you are looking for that 90s aquatic magic, you won't find it here anymore. It's time for me to find a new signature scent. Rating: 0/5, i don't even like the new bottle

Disappointing... Acqua Di Gio EDT

The scent has changed since the original that I have worn for 30 years... it is disappointing. The scent is not as strong as it used to be - now you need to spray like 5 sprays, and it fades within an hour or so. The original formula you really only needed one spray to smell great all day. I hate to write this because I've loved the cologne for so long, like many people, but I will likely not purchase again. I would like to get a refund if possible, honestly.

A change for the worse

I'm shocked after all these years of wearing the EDT I have to find a new cologne. Why would you guys change the formula? The new scent barley smells like the original and no matter how much you put on the scent goes away. It's extremely disappointing what happened to if it ain't broke don't fix it? I pray you guys do the right thing and bring back the formula everyone bought before. What you guys are selling now isn't even the same. This is like advertising that you are Selling coca-cola only to have the bottle filled with Pepsi.

Bring back the old formula!!!!

The scent of this cologne has changed significantly and no longer lasts for any length of time. The whole point of a cologne is scent, and this one was great, so why would you change it after all of these years? Whoever made the decision to change this scent should be fired.

Classic nautical scent and long-lasting. My son loves it.

frais mais ca tient pas

Finalement, ca m'est arrivé aussi... Ca ne tient pas. L'EDT tres agréable mais malheureusement, pas bcp de temp d'apprécier. Au bout d'une heure elle perd toute sa puissance. Je vais garder dans ma collection, mais Je n'achèterai pas la prochaine fois. Il faut opter pour la version parfum ou EDP.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it

I have tried over 50 colognes in my life and I always end up back with Aqua Di Gio. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Always amazing. Always fresh. Yiu can wear this year round. Its light, fresh, and doesn't wear thin after a long day. Definitely a must buy if you're in the market

The best fresh Fragance ever

The best; the classic; amazing fresh and clean smell; is so great the only thing Armani needs to improve is the lasting; because is around 5-6 hours. But the smell is the best
