The new skin illusion full coverage it is to matte kind of cakey they discontinued most of other foundations. Very sad and unhappy I will be missing my Everlasting Youth Fluid.

I dont think this is for me :(

I wanted to love this foundation, and it does have great coverage, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. If your skin needs extra coverage, especially for dark spots, it can be tricky to manage. I found that it doesn’t last through the day, even with primers and powders, and it tends to transfer easily- I literally found it on my white desk after touching my face. The texture is silky and smooth, and I appreciate that, but I expect a full coverage foundation to stay put and cover evenly without relying heavily on concealers, highlighters, or blush to correct pigmentation. I tried the Everlasting Long Wear first- soft and silky, but it required too much effort and still didn’t hold up for the day.I was disappointed. I have used these products for a good amount of time, and I honestly don’t know what other foundation I would try next. I love Clarins and the brand, so it’s a little sad to wonder if I need to start looking for alternatives. Overall, while it has a beautiful texture, the coverage and longevity aren’t quite what I expected for the price.I’m someone who has bounced around trying to find the best foundation, and I never usually leave a review or comment. However, I’ve come to learn that it’s important to voice when a product isn’t being marketed properly, either by consultants or online. I believe this is an everyday ' normal ish foundation, and that’s how it made me feel. So it’s definitely not for a lack of trying this is a product branded as full coverage, but in my experience, it isn’t. I won’t mention names, but one brand in particular that I used for years, Double Wear, should give enough context. I stopped using it because you need to work a little faster; if you don’t apply enough, it dries up like a desert and leaves instant lines on your face. To be fair, I’m not someone who has time for that I love easy and quick vibes with a shine and glow. Maybe I got it wrong, or maybe a consultant provided me with the wrong shade for my skin tone. Or perhaps there’s something about this brand I don’t know yet and I’d really like to find out because I do love it, and I don’t want to have to go searching for another foundation.

Good coverage without being *too* dewy

My favorite Clarins foundation is the discontinued Ever Matte (110 Honey color). I had then been using the Everlasting foundation, but found it a bit too matte. This is better in that is still is full coverage, but because it is dewier, it doesn’t seem to emphasize/sink into my lip-area lines as much. I do top with setting powder in some areas. The 110N shade seems *slightly* lighter than the former 110 Honey, but it’s hard to say.

Great foundation but expensive.

Great coverage and non cakey. However the price is way too expensive. I would rate 5 star but the price is too much. So for that I have to rate 3 star.

Perfection that glides on the skin

I love love love love the skin illusion foundation is is glorious, it just glides on the skin. I love that you can build your coverage, it cover those dark marks beautifully. Clarins what a amazing product, I love that it doesn't become cakey on the skin, love that it doesn't dry out the skin or show those fine lines that we don't want to see.
